To all those who are scared to go to a mechanic because ultimately u know that ur car, finances are in their hands & sometimes u can walk away going, hmmmm, I wonder if I really needed that part etc etc. Meet Eric, the mechanic that will put your faith back into Humanity. I took my 01 Benz CLK 320 to Fallbrook Auto Works/​specifically Eric after a recommendation from a local knowing I’m fairly new to Fallbrook & this is my first German car. After only a month, I had put 87 gas instead of required 91, within 48 hours I had a check engine light fiasco that of course I thought I’d caused. So I’m imagining best case scenario, it’s a fuel filter or an O2 sensor… worst case, new cylinoids or a new fuel pump, all things prob 3x’s the cost of the same parts on a Ford… and I’m stressing. However, came in at 3:00 on a Thursday, told him what had happened & instead of being expensive, it was the opposite. It was free– a hose was disconnected. 5 seconds & my car is back to normal. I’m so incredibly impressed with the honesty of the mechanic, I had a a diagnostic already done & brought in the codes– but he ran one himself free, lifted the hood & touched something & said try it now. So many mechanics would have told me I needed a new O2 & Mass Air Flow sensor or something else that makes sense & I woulda never known otherwise. WOW, Fallbrook Auto Works is amazing !! Not only is the shop clean and convenient but Eric is honest and if you really don’t need it he’s not gonna tell you that you DO, like so many ‘other places in town !!’ And I want to say thank you to the crew in the bays that work hard to get our cars done on time soooo thanks guys !!! and Sarah thank a gazillion for getting me in and out. Tell em Lisa sent you in ! (K on second thought, don’t do that … Lol)

These guys suck! If it a warranty repair they drag their feet and take FOREVER. Eric will not return your calls and Susie will lie about the status of the repair. Seems like the mechanics guess what the problem is if it is not obvious and charge you for unneeded parts.
I DO NOT recommend them. If you want a crappy service center, these are your guys.

What do I appreciate in a car mechanic? Someone who is honest, knowledgeable, has a caring helpful attitude and also integrity. I can relax and know he is looking out for my best interests. That is what you get with Eric and his staff. Car repair always seems expensive, but I have found Eric’s prices to be fair. I am grateful I found him and highly recommend him to anyone who needs good reliable automotive service.

We lived in Fallbrook for a while and began using another auto repair shop. We were very unhappy with the work at the other shop so we asked around and got very good comments about Fallbrook Auto Works. We have had both of our cars repaired at Fallbrook Auto Works and find Eric to be fair and honest. For instance, our Envoy needed a new fan clutch, Eric replaced it with an aftermarket part which did not work properly. Eric eat the labor costs to pull the aftermarket part out and replace it with a dealer part.
We would recommend Fallbrook Auto Works to anyone looking for a good reliable auto repair shop.

These folks had my wife’s car for over a month and after spending well over a grand, they STILL haven’t been able to fix the brakes correctly. I wound up going to the dealer and spent even more money but THEY got it RIGHT the first time. The dealer even showed me two wheel studs that were broken by Fallbrook Auto Works but secretly put back in place. WTF! Borderline criminal, and very dangerous!
This repair shop might be good for some but I’ll never, ever go there again!
The latest disaster was replacing a battery installed by FAW that I was assured was a great battery. It lasted less than a year!
Thanks Fallbrook Auto Works… for wasting my time and money…

Great customer service! Really bummed that I did not get the guys name at the front desk. I was in a rush and need a quick oil change I saw this place had great reviews so I decided to stop by. They were super busy so I wasn’t able to get an oil change but their customer service really brightened my day!

Eric, the owner, is the most HONEST GUY, and has the most talented mechanics. Period!!! I feel so very fortunate to have found him… I drive a very old car and I know he probably cringes every time he sees me, lol, but he FIXES my car every time and is VERY VERY reasonable!!! I I will never take my car any where else an refer him to EVERYONE I KNOW. If you have any car issues… No matter what city you live In, YOU MUST, make the drive and use Fallbrook Auto Works, as your PERMANENT MECHANIC!!! I guarantee you won’t be disappointed!!! These GUYS ARE THE VERY BEST AND VERY TALENTED!!! I have referred 7 people and so far ALL of them are going to be returning customers!!!

Love this place. Super friendly and gets straight to the point. Didn’t attempt to over charge me. Treated me like a daughter or a sister not like he thought I was a stupid woman.

This is the place I will be taking my car to from now on. Very nice staff, trustworthy, and knowledgeable. I went there for the first time last week to get my breaks done along with new wiper blades installed that I had purchased and a couple of minor misc. items I wanted them to check out for me. I asked them to do a once over and do oil change etc. if needed. They got me in the next day and called a few hours later to come pick up my car. When I got there I was told my breaks were at 50% and they didn’t need to be done at that time. They installed the wiper blades, topped off my fluids (didn’t need the regular maintenance done yet) and charged me $ 0. Now how can you beat that. I did read the reviews before taking my car there and all the good stuff is true. Thanks guys…

I live in Fallbrook but always drove my cars to Temecula/​Murrieta to get them repaired at my favorite shops. I read the reviews on Unilocal for Fallbrook Auto Works and thought I’d give them a chance since it would be close to home for me.
Well I have been there 3 times now. One time I brought my own parts in and had them do the labor, Every time the prices have been fair and work done right the first time. The last time, I brought in my Trans Am (my baby) for a power steering leak from the pump itself. I know that the pump is $ 250 + labor, well they are very honest and told me it was just the hose and replaced the hose.
Eric the owner has been straight up and honest. I’m able to drop my car off late and pick it up late in the evening (I commute and get home around 6:00pm). Work is typically done from drop off to pick up the next day, Anytime you go by there, they are packed with cars and have a few technicians working late.
I have found my favorite shop for all my car!

I am straight up with my reviews. I don’t mess around and I tell it like it is.
Eric at Fallbrook Auto Works is the same way. He doesn’t hassle you or make up fake auto problems to get more money. He tells you exactly what is wrong and gets himself going. No games, no BS. And if there is something that is not directly related to the repair itself, but he feels that it is necessary to get the job done, he does it and wont charge. I had an AC leak and he put in the dye to find it. No charge for that when other mechs. would have tacked on $ 5 at least. I once had a hell of an electrical problem. I was charged the first time, but had to come back when the problem came back. Eric made the decision not to charge me again when I had to bring the car back due to the fact I had already brought it in once. Not only is he honest, but that last part shows he is HONORABLE.
I come in for everything now and I recommend all my friends to him. Thanks, Eric.
People always say «I’ll take it to MY mechanic». It took a long time, but I finally have MY mechanic.

Eric and his staff have worked on my car several times since I’ve moved to the area just over a year ago (routine maintenance, mostly). They are the most trustworthy mechanics I have ever had the pleasure to stumble upon, and am so thankful that a neighbor referred me to them. Eric is quick to explain his findings, and his turn around time is faster than average. I wouldn’t trust my car to any other mechanic in the area!

I recently took my car to one of those chain service centers for an oil change and was told that I needed new gasket covers and a thermostat for a «discounted» rate of $ 700.00. Thanks but no thanks.
Googled automotive service in/​near Fallbrook and found Fallbrook Auto Works. The Unilocal reviews were amazing and I asked someone who works for the local Chamber of Commerce about them. She said she friends use them and rave about them, so I took my Explorer in and Eric what the first garage stated I needed to have done. Long story short, my gasket covers are fine and all my thermostat needed was an O ring. $ 700.00 turned out to be less than $ 50.00 when all was said and done.
I have found my new automotive garage and will never go anywhere else. Eric and his staff are AMAZING!

You turn the key… the engine won’t catch. UGH! What do ya do? Get it over to Fallbrook Auto Works! Eric and his team are Awesome! Did you catch the Capital «A»?
They were fast, courteous and professional! Turns out it was my Camshaft Position Sensor. The phones were ringing off the hook and they were SUPER BUSY, but I was able to drop off and pick up my car the same day.

My car blew up. Looked on Unilocal for an auto place In fallbrook because I’m not familiar with the area. This place had great reviews so I took it over there. Left Monica (2008 mustang) there while I went to work, got a call from Eric a few hours later with the problem and he was generous enough to fix her without a payment up front. Granted it was only $ 250 he was still generous enough to help me out. Swung by after they closed, he was still there, I paid for it and took her home. It’s been 4 days now and she’s running great!
Super nice people, no waiting around inside the office either.
Should monica ever act up again I’ll bring it back here!
As for what happened to my mustang… Blown thermostat housing. Less than $ 250 out the door…

What an amazing shop. Not only do they do great work, but the owner has a heart of gold. He is not out to make a buck, he is seriously looking out for others safety. I have had nothing but great service here with great friendly people! words can really never describe their level of service and customer service. they go way above and beyond. if something happens to my car now i dont even panic i quickly call eric and he tells me to get right in and they will take care of it asap

The service was prompt-​Eric is very helpful and upfront about pricing and details. The staff are very helpful and professional. Pricing is VERY fair. I really have had great experiences with this shop and highly recommend it!!!
