We recently had eye exams at his office and wanted to take the prescription elsewhere as we’ve done many times in the past. The problem is he won’t give you your complete prescription. He wants you to buy his $ 700 glasses there. He will provide a general distance diagnosis that’s useless if you want to buy computer, reading or progressive glasses. And his prescription isn’t even complete with no values for PD or PALS if you want progressive.(You can buy the PD values for an extra ten bucks) When I asked him for this information that should be in the prescription he acted like I had two heads. This isn’t my first pair of glasses. I’ve been buying them for many years. So I know what you need to get a pair of glasses made. I’m sure he does too. He just doesn’t want you to have them made anywhere but his office. Although the values he gave us for Sph, Cyl, Axis and so forth were significantly different from what I’ve had in the past one has to wonder so I’m not even sure what he gave me is accurate.

I was unable to use the prescription I was given by Dr. Ramos’s office to purchase progressive lenses because it was incomplete. Upon returning to his office to inquire about the prescription, I was told that there would be an additional charge to add that information because it was office policy not to include it as part of a regular eye exam. Because of this experience I am disappointed in his office and cannot recommend the service.

Highly recommended. Dr. Ramos is very patient, personal, professional and knowledgable. Could not be happier with our new optometrist !
