What could be better than a weekend of artistry in a beautiful rural area. This studio tour is in Berkeley County, WV, an easy 2 hour jaunt from Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.
14 studios are on the tour featuring 17 artists and artisans. Here is a chance to get a behind the scenes peek at the creative spaces that these artists and artisans use to create spectacular works of art… including basketry, fiber arts, paintings, glasswork, polymer clay work, jewelry, pottery, metalwork, wood inlay art and even puppetry!
It is also an opportunity to buy directly from the artist… or commission a special piece just to suit your taste.
October 1 – 2, 2011, this tour is a must see! Well worth it.
