We are an orthodontist office located in Falls Church, VA offering braces and Invisalign for children, teens, and adults. We serve the Northern Virginia area including Fairfax, Tyson’s Corner, Vienna, Annandale, Arlington, and Alexandria. We pride ourselves in honest and friendly treatments to improve the smiles and the lives of our patients.

History

Established in 2013.

Our office is located in the heart of Northern Virginia in Fairfax County, just outside of the beltway, near the Inova Fairfax Hospital. Completed in December of 2012, our brand new office features completely digital x-​rays, records, and charting, which reduces radiation for our patients and increases efficiency of each visits. Merrifield Orthodontics is the resulting culmination of efforts by Dr. Dan Lee and his staff to realize his passion for patient care, his drive for excellence, and his dedication to the science of orthodontics, spanning over seven years of experience. We love what we do and we’re delighted at the chance to share our services with you.

Business Owner

Dr. Elizabeth Matteson Jones is a native of Northern Virginia and is thrilled to be practicing orthodontics in her home town. She has had an avid interest in orthodontics since middle school. Congentially missing a permanent front tooth herself, getting braces and a new false tooth was an exciting and confidence boosting experience. While attending high school at Georgetown Visitation Preparatory School, Dr. Jones began working along side her orthodontist at his office learning to change wires and colors, and knew orthodontics was the career for her!

After high school, Dr. Jones attended The College of William and Mary, where she majored in Biology and minored in Art/​Art History. For her independent study project, she spent an entire year sculpting and casting teeth in preparation for dental school. While at W&M, Dr. Jones was the head mentor for pre-​dental students, as well as a member of Orchesis Modern Dance Company and Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority.
