Dr. O’Shea earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Georgetown University in 1981. Immediately after Dental School, he received three additional years of specialized training in Restorative Dentistry: General Dentistry Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Topeka, KS, and then completed a Fixed-​Removable Prosthodontic Residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Kansas City, MO. Following residency training, he served as full-​time Assistant Professor at Georgetown University Dental School’s Department of Removable Prosthodontics from 1984 – 1987. Dr. O’Shea is presently a part-​time Assistant Professor in the Department of Restorative Dentistry at the Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington, D.C.
