Internet marketing leader Rick Smith is the founder and chief executive officer of NewsUSA, Inc. As the driving force behind the company since 1987, Rick has built NewsUSA into a multi-​million dollar media company which has served over 5,000 clients nationwide. Before founding NewsUSA, Rick founded News Canada Inc., which he sold to MDC Corporation, a large publicly traded Canadian company.

Rick has presented to groups on business startup, funding, marketing and more. He has invested in many startups that have gone on to become sizable public companies. His clients range from Nasdaq to Visa to TD Bank, and now include clients, such as Discover Bank, that use NewsUSA’s new Social Syndication program. Rick has funded many companies where he can add his media clout to help guarantee that those companies get their story out.
