Wow food quantity is the worst. I asked for Fish and Shrimp and i get two tiny and I mean tiny fish and what looked like crumbs as shrimp, like the salad shrimp size for 9 $ oh hell no!!! over priced and food is poor… they roll their eyes at you when you question them… they hardly put gravy on ur potatoes and mind u u get a large and its not full to top and if u ask for more gravy they charge you… i mean POPEYES claims to be southern wheres the gravy? No southern there! I’ll stick with KFC they dont charge for lots of gravy… and chicken quality is better.

This was the second year that we bought Turkey from Popeyes for our Thanksgiving dinner. Their Cajun flavor turkey was so easy to cook, you will never worry about being embarrassed in front of your guests anymore!

This is the only Popeye’s I go to, in the area. Hot chicken, soft biscuits, and quick service. This location stays busy. Nice staff though.

I’m from New Orleans and for us, Popeyes=comfort food. I have traveled the world, and will patronize any Popeyes I find, no matter how far-flung off the beaten path. So believe me when I say I love my Popeyes! The problem with Popeyes outside the Big Easy is that the flavor is so inconsistent. I have found this particularly true in the DC area. To be honest, most Popeyes locations here border on inedible. That’s why this Seven Corners location is a godsend. It’s easily the best Popeyes in the area. Every time I’ve been here, the chicken is served fresh, and unlike other locations, their spicy really is spicy. They prepare red beans and rice quite well, too. The biscuits are really good too, not sawdust-dry like at other locations. The store is always spotless, and best of all, the staff here is very courteous, notably the lady who manages the day shift. It’s very refreshing to encounter a staff this polite and courteous in a fast food place. If you’re hankering for tasty comfort food, New Orleans-style, this is the place to go! And if by chance the franchise owner reads this, I really hope you will reward your employees in some manner, because they are truly exceptional.

I moved here from Nola a few years ago and was horrified to discover that no Popeyes in the DC area serves spicy chicken tenders… except this one. It’s also the cleanest Popeyes I have ever seen and the staff is super friendly. Go here. It’s worth the drive.

They recently renovated this location. Now it’s all clean looking with the typical«upscale» fast food joint decoration(think backsplash, fake wood, light fixtures). It’s a lot better than before so I applaud the update! Not sure there’s anything to add about their fried chicken. They are good, they are the usual Popeyes fried chicken. Same with Cajun fries(my fav) and biscuits. I tried Cajun fried fish today and it’s great! They fry it fresh while you wait(maybe 5 mins wait) and it has a spicy coating and how I like my fried fish! Don’t recommend the popcorn shrimp as they are prefried and just sitting there, so it’s kind of cold and way too much batter. Next time I’ll just get the fish. Service is always friendly. I highly recommend this location. I would love to try the fried turkey one year for thanksgiving!

Cyndy’s Bottom Line: Great fast food fried chicken This is what I ate: 1. 3 pcs spicy dark meat chicken — moist and tender inside. Crispy and crunchy outside. 2. Red beans and rice — delicious flavors 3. Cajun fries — fries golden brown crispy. Love the biscuit with honey!!! Fast service.

This review is in reference to comparing this location with other Popeyes locations. The chicken and sides actually taste better and fresher than at any other Popeyes I’ve been to. Trust me, I’ve been to a lot of them! I will bypass other Popeyes to go to this location.

Can’t expect any better than what you’ll get here. Nice food, strawberry soda, and awesome fried chicken. I just wish I didn’t have to go through Seven Corners to get here.

Good Popeye’s location. Food is always good, service is good and clean store. It’s Popeye’s chicken and biscuits, not much more to say. Don’t forget to order red-beans and rice!

I love you. Marry me. Make me the happiest woman alive. Just walking into this Popeyes…(shaking head, eyes closed)…is intoxicating. The smells of freshly fried chicken… makes my knees weak. But damn… can a sista get a drive thru? The crazy parking lot can ruin my wet dream. Seriously.

I will throw down on some Popeyes any time on any day of the week. Getting in and out of the parking lot can be challenging, its in a shopping center with alot of activity so just be careful. And the biscuits are amazing. Love it.
