The Locker room was a roller coaster of mixed emotions. Never really wanted to try this place because Locker rooms remind me of smelly feet, but my friends were curious about this place so we gave it a go. We came during a Capital’s game so they had a 50% off wings deal. We ordered a plate of 24 wings that was only $ 10!!! Now it was a great deal, but only one of the flavors were actually good. My friends and I were not a big fan of the Locker room signature hot wings and the lemon pepper wings. Flavoring was really off and didn’t enjoy them. The Old bay wings were really good, but most restaurants can’t really mess up Old bay wings. Now for atmosphere… let’s just say there wasn’t much ethnic diversity in the crowd. Long story short, awesome deal on wings, but the food and establishment in general wasn’t charming enough for me to want to come back.

Went in on a recommendation from a friend. Really liked the place. I sat at the bar and the bartender was really attentive. Fair prices. I highly recommend this place. Went back again and the service was outstanding so changed from a 4 to a 5 star review. I love this place!!!

Great ambiance, good food, good service! My friend and I decided to try out The Locker Room after reading about it on Unilocal yesterday(12⁄20). We wanted a fun place to watch football where we could also get some drinks and grub. We arrived shortly after the 1pm games started and stayed until almost the end of the 4pm games. Alcohol: They had some good beer specials for Sunday from 12−6pm: $ 12 bucket of bottles(4)(bud light, miller light, budweiser, etc); $ 12 pitchers for same beers on tap, $ 3 rail drinks, $ 3 fireball shots, and some wine specials(I don’t pay attention to wine during football). Food: They also had some food specials like $ 5 sliders, but we both got regular burgers. They were great and the quality I would expect from a sports bar. I got a cheeseburger with an egg and bacon on it-so delish! My friend got a cheeseburger with pulled pork, which was also yummy(as long as you are okay with the heart attack, which we were). They also had an option for build your own mac-n-cheese which we did not get but I am def going to go back to try it! You could add all kinds of different ingredients to make a dank mac-n-cheese concoction. Service: Our server was J and she was awesome! Very attentive without hovering and she always made sure we had what we needed. There was a small hiccup with our food but she took care of it so quickly that I barely even had time to notice(I care more about the service recovery than the mistake itself; hence, I still am rating them 5 stars). Since we were there for like 6 hours and had quite the tab they also sent us a surprise app from the kitchen which in our drunk state was pretty much the best thing ever and showed that they were a down-to-Earth fun bar who cares about their customers! Venue: They had all the games which is a huge factor when you want to watch multiple games or ones that you have to have the ticket to see! I thought there was a perfect number of people there. It’s a good size location on the smaller side with tons of TVs. The bar area had most of its tables full, so it didn’t feel empty, but it wasn’t so crowded that you felt like the service was slow or you couldn’t see the game you wanted. This has the total sports bar feel and quality so if you are looking for something upscale or don’t want that ambiance this is not the place for you, but if it is than I would recommend it. I am definitely going back!

I have been coming in off and on for awhile and recently noticed some changes. The service staff has changed and are definitely alot friendlier and more attentive. The have also made some changes to the menu that are great. If anyone was unsure or disappointed before they should try it again. My server Moe doesn’t let me go linger then 10 minutes with out checking on me. Great group od people now i look foward to spending more time here.

What a crappy experience. First they didn’t have a lot of beer selection. 2nd they didn’t have one thing that we wanted which is homemade pickle spears. 3rd we settle for«Buffalo chicken dip» Ha! More like Buffalo chicken Barf! It looks like it’s straight outta a can. I feel like I’m about to get sick. Never coming back again. Not even worth a star. Seriously!

Been there twice. The first time the waiter spent all his time with his visiting family and forgot all about us. The second time the waitress couldn’t understand English, but the manager stopped us from walking out and served us personally. The food was not remarkable either, even though the cook came out to socialize. It seemed this place was designed for the beer-guzzling sports crowd, of which we are not.

I went to The Lock Room last Saturday for the West Virginia — Oklahoma game with a friend, my wife, and daughter. The bartender and our waitress had on WVU jerseys, and gave my buddy in OU stuff the business which was great(as I’m a WVU fan). They had a special, $ 3 domestic bottles and rail drinks. I had a couple bud lights and a rail bourbon neat, which tasted like Jim Beam(but I didn’t ask). Each time my bottle got low, our server was there to ask if we wanted another. 12 wings cost 12 bucks and some change. Basically dollar wings. I don’t even think they were on special; this is a great deal. I got buffalo, and old bay. Both were good. My wife and my buddy also liked their food. We had a great time and my only complaint is that WVU couldn’t get it done. I would have given 5 stars, but we had a less than perfect experience the first time we came. The server messed up our order a few times. We did get wings on the house as a result, but it was a pretty simple order to mess up. It seems like the service has turned around though. I’ll definitely be back, and may up my rating if we keep getting great service.

My son and I went here for lunch and it was perfect. I ordered the char broil chicken salad, and the portion size was huge and was fresh. I also ordered some wings, I have to say they were awesome, cooked perfect. You really Can judge a bar by there wings. We also got a cheese pizza, because I heard that they have great pizza. My son loved it and so did I. I will be coming here again for sure and telling my co-workers and friends all about it…

The outdoor tables are 3 feet away from the building’s giant ashtray. You cannot sit outside and not have to suck in second-hand cigarette smoke over the course of your meal. While technically within the Virginia regulations, it really sucks that the property manager for this building could not come up with a better place to send smokers so as to not ruin things for people who’d like to dine al fresco.

Went here last night because I drove by my old stomping grounds and saw the TV’s. I don’t let the ratings on Unilocal discourage me from going anywhere. I look at the atmosphere and staff before I make up my mind. Bartender was really friendly and although I didn’t order any food, it all looked really good. Drinks were reasonably priced for the area and I felt the bartender was really attentive in spite of previous reviews. Bartender was nice enough to put on the Yankee game at the TV where I sat. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in the area again.

sweet little watering hole close to the W&OD trail, convenient for me on my jogs… Rhiannon(SP?) the bartender was great, cheap wine and half price wings on Thursdays! Had the Steak and Cheese which was very satisfying… Definitely want to come and try the pizzas!

Went to a nail salon next door to get our nails done and went for some drinks after. It’s an okay American sport bar nothing really fancy. Our waitress was attentive and service was great. Ordered wings here and it was good so definitely might come back in the future.

Just bleh for me. Alot of TVS with all different types of sports on and sports memorabilia on the walls. I think thats it if you like sports. The beer selection is limited and overpriced. Food was straight from a box or can that I could find at my local Giant. The chili for the nachos was straight up from a can, I can taste the aluminum part. The wings we had were the Sweet Chile and Garlic Parmesean. The Sweet Chile was good only because I use that same sauce at home for my egg roll dipping. And the garlic parmesean was barely garlic or parmeasean. Waste of money for both! Prices for food were way overpriced also and probably nothing on that menu is worth getting. Plenty of restaurants down the street if you want some good bar food and a place to watch the games. Also service was barely there, it was hard to get our waitress for our check… and there were barely any customers. I guess you could come here to buy some overpriced beers and watch the game, but nothing else. Eat before you come!

I’ve been here twice before, the first time I sat at the bar with a friend & was served by Rhianna who was more than wonderful and went out of her way to make us happy. There were some intoxicated off duty employees running around being obnoxious but she apologized and handled it. We were so happy we decided to to come back again last night with a few of our friends for drinks, we sat at the only open seats at the bar in between clearly intoxicated customers who actually turned out to be employees of the bar. We hadn’t been there for more than 15 minutes before one of the drunk men & employees of the bar, I believe his name was Albert, butted his way into our conversation. After minutes of trying to ignore him, he cussed at my friend then stood up trying to fight us out of nowhere. The bartender(Jay) asked him & the other customers/off duty employees who got involved to calm down & leave us alone but the man refused and kept trying to fight & argue with my friends. Then another off duty intoxicated employee, Alba, came over to butt in as well then began to yell at us some more & wave her arms around in everyone’s faces. Alba, an ABC manager according to the list visible from my seat at the bar, was also NOT aware of the ABC laws on serving intoxicated customers. After losing our appetite, Jay was nice enough to pay for our food. Although my second experience here was hands down my WORST experience at a restaurant, I will be returning thanks to the fabulous service I had(thanks Rhianna, looks like they reallyyyy need you there). The staff seems to be the only thing holding this place back. They weren’t just intoxicated, they were wasted & making a scene. They shouldn’t be taking up open seats on the bar, whether they’re on duty or off, your place of business should NOT be your place to party. It should be professional, and this place lacks a lot of that. I’m honestly still in shock at what happened last night, especially the level of incompetence the employees displayed.

This establishment replaced the old Hoang’s sushi bar and grill. Sure, a lot of the old décor is still there, but the large screen LCD TVs and sports memorabilia have really changed the place. I really liked the combination of great, friendly, «hometown» like service. Don’t expect 5 star cooking techniques. However, for a sports bar brunch, easy parking, good service, and the prices, I’ve always left very happy.

A great place to watch golf, baseball and hockey. Great wings, specials and beer. Friendly staff, great prices and okay selection of beer and wine. A bit more variety would be a big bonus.

Go for the cheap yellow beer but not much else. Don’t sit near the sides or because employees and managers smoke outside that door and makes its way in. Go for the cheap yellow beer. I hope they work it out there but unfortunately I don’t think the offerings match what the city will patronize. Owner is nice guy and everyone else seems nice. I would just be surprised if anything was fresh on menu. Much like others on here, I want it to succeed.

We went in for happy hour a few days ago. We sat at the bar and overall we had a nice time. The woman behind the bar was very nice and made us feel welcome. However., when her shift ended and the night bartender took over the atmosphere changed. This guy was a combination of slightly rude, awkward, and inattentive. Here’s a tip; when a group of four people all have empty glasses in front of them for 15min you might want to ask if they’d like another round. This guy was noticeably annoyed whenever we asked for anything and he was forced to stop texting and put his phone down. I’ll be back because sports bars are scarce in FCC but if that same guy is behind the bar I’ll be turning around and leaving.(4 or maybe even 5 stars when they get rid of that dude)

I really wanted to like this place because CFC doesn’t have a «sports bar» and it’s so close to home, BUT it really needs improvements if it’s going to survive. The draft selection is not very good, but I guess that’s why we have Mad Fox and Space Bar. The prices for beer are a bit overpriced as well. We ordered the wings and it came out uncooked. The chicken was pink and rubbery. I immediately told the waitress, and she gave us another batch… 2 stars for only charging us half price for the wings. After our waitress’ shift left, no one even bothered to check in on us. I also expected larger TVs. The picture quality and sound system were mediocre. BWW is better than this place for sports watching. I know it’s a new place, so hopefully the business and management get it together…

Great environment, 16 tv’s and all the games are on. Friendly staff and oh yeah the pizza and wings are awesome!
