Meet the Business Owner

Ian S.

Business Owner

Ian grew up in Buffalo New York, attended college in Ohio. Directly after his time in school Ian spent time teaching at a boarding school, an experience that still shapes much of business thinking and strategy. In 2000 he settled down in the D.C. metro area to begin a career. In 2005 Ian began working in the insurance industry, with Sentry insurance, where he received a great deal of training and experience working with business owners. It was in that same year that he met the woman who would later become his wife. Since that time, Ian has married, and gained further experience in the insurance business, working with some larger independent insurance agencies, and much larger business involving much more complex risks. Teaching, and working in insurance have provided Ian a unique perspective on his industry. He’s passionate about educating his clients about the service he offers, and how it can best be used to protect their assets and futures.
