I knocked a ladder over and shattered my large sliding window on the back of my
was a week before Thanksgiving and I was going to be out of town the following week so I was panicked because I had a giant hole in the back of my house. I knew that if I had to replace the whole window it was going to cost around $ 1200. Alex came out the next day and gave me an estimate and it was a fraction of the cost of what I expected paying. The gentleman that owns the company, Alex, actually came and installed the window on the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving after work hours just so that I can leave town and have peace of mind that my home is safe and secure. I would recommend Virginia window repair I will definitely use them again if I need glass replacement. Five stars!!!

Excellent service. Very professional. They changed three windows and installed a new shower door. Prices were reasonable and, overall, they did excellent work. I will certainly use them again.

I had an emergency and needed to get a broken window replaced immediately. I called and Alex managed to fit me in on there very tight schedule. The price was very reasonable and they worked with me. I must say they were very professional and it didn’t cost me an arm and a leg. Even though they had several jobs that day, they still showed-​up late in the evening and completed the work in one day, just like he promised. It was worth the wait! Thanks Guys you saved me from a $ 250.00 quote that another competitor had given, who never bothered to show-​up. Now I know who to call. I would recommend them if you are in a tight pinch and money is an issue.

I had two broken windows, one a pressure treated window cracked in thousands of pieces but still holding in place and another cracked by a falling branch. I talked to a couple of my regular handymen but they were not able to match Alex’s price. Yes, I followed the advice of the previous reviewers and emailed them the pictures of the windows. Alex replied in an hour with an estimate which was really very competitive.
Alex came in with his associate, Ali, I believe, and took measurements. There was a price adjustment based on his closer inspection but it was minor and he never pressured me. Alex and his associate were extremely polite and knowledgeable about their business. Alex was in touch with me regularly on the phone as well as email.
They then came on another pre-​arranged day, took less than an hour to replace the windows and did a very great job.

I called them to get a repair price of a window my son broke I took picture of it and sent it to him he responded immediately the price is extremely reasonable so far I’m very happy with them they are coming here Monday to fix window I will write an update after the repair

Alex and his team will take on jobs that others won’t. We needed new glass in a sliding door, new custom screens and minor repairs to a few other windows. They showed up on time and did a great job with all aspects of the project. A small local business that cares about customer service and wants to make sure you are satisfied. We highly recommend them!

Alex was great. Answered my call on a saturday evening, took measurements the next day, and had the glass on my window replaced soon after that. The price was great. Highly recommend.

I replaced one window with a broken frame and seal and several windows with broken balances, latches, and shoes. Alex and Ash came out and did an assessment and gave me a price quote right there — they ordered the materials with no money down like the other poster said. The prices they quoted were reasonable and I saved a lot of money over full replacement.
2 weeks later they came out and did the job in one afternoon. At one point during the repair — Alex pointed out that I did not need to replace all 4 balances on one window, just needed to replace 1 and reduced the price on the spot.
Alex and Ash are a great crew — very professional, helpful, and honest. They are very responsive over the phone, take the time to explain the repairs, and show you what needs to be done. Would do business with them again and highly recommend.

The seal on the dual pane glazing on five of my Velux roof windows had failed and there was moisture between the panes. This lowered the insulation value and clouded the view. Velux told me that they no longer manufactured replacement glazing for them so I called three glass companies that had good Unilocal ratings. Of the three, two of them responded with a call back and VA Window Repair had a technician call within an hour. We arranged to time to inspect the windows the next day and I had a quote a few hours later. A day after I got a call back from the other company and arranged a similar inspection.
I had the second company come out as soon as they were able (two days) and a week after that I got a quote that was 30% higher than VA Window Repair. I gave VA a go ahead with no money down and they had the replacement panes made up and ready to install six days later. The installation went very smoothly and they took upmost care to clean up and make the skylights look new again. Now I have skylights that meet current building code (tempered over laminated low-​E glass) and they look great. I would use these guys again without question.
They don’t take credit cards, but for the price and service, it’s worth writing a check.

Did a great job. Responsive over the phone. On time with estimate and installation of the replacement glass. Polite installer who did a good job minimizing any mess and cleaning up after the work. They replaced the glass in an Andersen vent window on our back porch. The glass was double pane tempered safety glass. Very reasonable price. Would happily do business with them again.

I spent the past seven months working with numerous contractors to prepare my home for sale. VA Window Repair performed light years above some companies that are well known and considered leaders in their field. Alex was prompt, polite, knowledgeable, and I felt that he wanted my business and was committed to doing an excellent job. I had a window with moisture between the glass. I called others who just didn’t seem interested and some wanted to replace the entire window. Alex quickly determined just what was needed to do the job and provided me a very reasonable quote. He accommodated a quick turnaround and altered his hours to work within my schedule with no complaints. I would highly recommend Alex and VA Window Repair.

I had a sliding glass door with a broken lock. A locksmith couldn’t fix it so I then contacted five or six window and door repair companies and VA Window Repair was the only company willing to help me. The rest all wanted me to replace the entire door, even though it was only two years old and in perfect shape other than the lock. Alex from VA Window Repair pulled out a catalog and showed me the replacement lock to order (which cost $ 20). He then came back the day after the lock arrived and installed it for a reasonable price. I highly recommend these guys!
