Daughter had 2 wisdom teeth removed (only had 2 wisdom teeth – would only ever have 2 wisdom teeth. Got the bill and they charged the Insurance Company and us for removal of 3. Notified them immediatelty that they needed to correct this. Waited for «updated bill” — Nothing. Over a year later, they sent it to a collection agency. Now, I am charging them wirh Insurance Fraud and Defamation of Character. I put one star because I wanted to catch everone’s attention.

Dr. Corcoran and the office staff are fantastic! The office staff was very flexible when I mixed up the appt time, and still got me taken care of. Dr. Corcoran and his aide are thorough, cordial, and spend the necessary time to explain the procedure. Also, for what it is worth, parking is free and very accessible.

I called, during business hours, and the phone was answered by a staff member promptly. I was able to schedule my appointment with ease. When I arrived at my appointment, the staff in its entirety put me at ease.
The office is lovely, and so is the staff. The wait time was short, but I know that sometimes they surely must have emergencies come in. Since I feel sure they would care for me during an emergency, I would not have minded had they needed me to wait longer.
After the procedure, I was sent home with a care package and written instructions, including the number to their answering service. They let me know that the doctors consider themselves on call around the clock, so if I had an issue in the middle of the night, someone would be in contact with me if I alerted the answering service of that need.
Later that evening, Dr. Corcoran called to check on me! I have NEVER had that happen before!!! EVER!!! That was extremely reassuring! He reminded me, before we hung up — if I had a problem during the night or over the weekend — I could call the answering service, and he would call me back. He assured me that I could do this with no hesitation.
In response to the one star poster, answering services are just that… Answering services. They are for emergencies. Doctors are on call ²⁴⁄₇. Office staff is not. Also, every doctor’s, dentist’s and oral surgeon’s office I have ever been to has had a cancellation policy. Theirs is very reasonable, and is on par with every other cancellation policy I have seen.

Five Stars for Dr. Armanious! Had my wisdom teeth extracted with him a week ago. It’s very rare that I’m impressed by a doctor, but Dr. Armanious truly was great. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly, and made me feel at ease. On my follow-​up appointment this morning, he confirmed everything is healing up nicely. Thank you Dr. Armanious :-)

I’ve had a really good with this practice. Dr. Armanious was able to see me on very short notice and he has been wonderful. The staff has been very accommodating and couldn’t be nicer. They’ve made a less-​than-​pleasant medical situation much more bearable.

This isn’t a review about any of the oral surgeons at this practice; this is a review of the office in general.
I haven’t even had my appointment yet and I already have a bad taste in my mouth about this place. I was referred by my orthodontist for an oral surgery consultation, and everytime I’ve called to schedule an appointment or modify my appointment I’ve run into some sort of issue.
1.) When I first called to schedule an appointment, it was on a weekend. I knew they were closed but thought that I would leave a message, which I’ve done before with other doctors, dentists, etc. After a few rings, someone picked up the phone. I told them I had been referred by my ortho and would like to schedule an appointment for oral surgery, but the operator quickly told me that I needed to call back during business hours because they were closed (which I knew). If you are closed, why’d you pick up? If you decided to pick up the phone when you were closed, why didn’t you bother helping me out by taking a message or actually scheduling the appointment, at the very least tentatively?
2.) I called the office back later that week a few minutes after 5:00 PM after I had got off work. I was hoping someone might pick up, but at the very least I planned to leave a message. Again, someone picked up the phone to answer; I told them I’d like to schedule an appointment, and they told me to hold while they transferred me to someone else. When the next person answered the phone, I told them I’d like to schedule an appointment, but they said I needed to call back when they were open. How about this: if you’re closed, don’t pick up the phone. If you do pick up the phone when you’re closed, do your job by either taking a message or scheduling the appointment.
3.) I called the next day *during* business hours (at 4:20 PM), and someone picked up the phone. I told them the same thing I had said the past two times. They told me, however, that I needed to call back during business hours because they were closed. I promptly told the person that this was my third time calling back, it was indeed during business hours, and they needed to help me schedule an appointment. Without saying anything else, the operator transferred me to someone who actually knew how to do their job properly (although the second person I spoke with was a little confused about my request, assured me that their office was not taking any new patients, and then realized after further repeating myself that I could be seen by one of the surgeons).
4.) On the day of my appointment, I called to reschedule because I forgot to bring certain documents with me to work that they needed for my first visit. Not realizing that they weren’t open yet, I called about 10 – 15 minutes prior to the office opening. Lo and behold, the same unhelpful operator who insists on kind-​of-​doing-​their-​job-​but-​not-​really-​doing-​their-​job during non-​business hours picked up. I told them I’d like to reschedule for such and such reason, and she promptly told me to call back in 15 minutes. Seriously, why are you picking up the phone if you aren’t going to help your patients in any way, shape, or form? Either don’t pick up the phone and let it go to voicemail, or pick up the phone and do your job.
I’m under the impression that these surgeons are pretty good, though.
