So far so good. I recently moved into the area. Looks like they have some really interesting pizzas. I saw one with M&Ms on it. Kind of gross. I ordered take out so far. Ill report back if I fell strongly one way or another one them as I eat more.

Can’t believe I tried it again. Horrible. Run by kids. All cheap ingredients and still filthy.

I love their egg plant sandwich. These guys can cook! I also respect that they customize some of their stuff for me because I’m a vegan. My family loves their pizza. Great restaurant.

This place is a great spot for pizza. I love that they have many different pie options. I almost couldn’t decide what to get. I ended up with getting two slices of Sicilian… it went very quick! Everyone was very friendly and I have to admit they have great music playing with a few tv’s to catch some games. I came in hungry and left feeling satisfied!

Disgusting pretty much sums it up. Pizza always looks as if it’s been sitting out all day. And tonight I just got a chicken parm sandwich that I pretty much threw away. The chicken cutlet looks old and is dark, sauce taste like something they just slapped on from a jar. It’s sad because the people there are very nice but the food is disgusting.

When Nicks first opened they had to work out the kinks but they may be one of the best pizza places in the area now a days they certainly have the best slice in downtown Fanwood. They are also a go to if you like a larger boardwalk style slice that you can fold and enjoy like a pro.

This is the best pizza in Fanwood. It is a classic pizza pie that is great each time. I order online and pick up it up and the pizza is always ready on time and hot!

Best pizza place ! The food is great and Nick, the owner, along with his sons are super nice. Perfect little family owned business. You can tell that they love what they do! They make you feel welcomed every time you walk in those doors. God bless their business!

Will never order from this place again, they delivered cool pizza. When we call back, were very rude to us .Told us, we deserve it. Said, we are the type people that don’t tip and that makes us even.

Ordered from there tonight. Ordered a cheesesteak, eggplant parm, house salad and fries. Best part of the meal was the fries. My cheesesteak tasted like the meat had been freezer burned and the meat had this weird gray color to it. It tasted like it looked. I had a couple of bites and threw it away. My wife’s eggplant parm was also extremely disappointing and was extremely salty. The fries were the best pet of the meal. Honestly, I love to support my local businesses but I fail to see how people like this place.

After trying the pizza several time, I’m sorry to report its very inconsistent. Sometimes the pizza was really good and sometimes not. Disappointed with the most recent pizza we have had. However, when the pizza is good, it’s delicious.

First off let me start with saying that I was turned on to Nicks by my daughter and have lived their food. However — I noticed that the quality has dropped off quite a bit lately. The ½ plain ½ pepperoni basically was swirled around I can only guess because the held the box on its side. The eggplant and ziti was bland and re garlic knots were half the size of what they used to be and were SUPER chewy to the point that we couldn’t eat them. I spent a little over $ 30 and was left underwhelmed. It’s a shame too, because they are(were?) the best game in town.

Pros — Delivery is always Fast On-line ordering Regular Pizza is above average Salad selection is slim — but what they have is very good Cons — Meatball /Chicken Parm subs were average at best Grandma pie did not impress — came somewhat soggy Penne Vodka — way too much pepper
I like Nick’s a lot for just the Regular Pizza. It is an above average regular pie. Their other food leaves something to be desired. Chicken Parm was way too thick and not what I expect from a NJ Pizzeria. The Meatballs — well I will try again, but they were overcooked and not well seasoned. Maybe it was just a bad batch. The grandma pie — it seemed a bit soggy. We had some leftover and reheated it in the oven the next day and once the crust got nice and crispy it was better. The Penne Vodka was OK — and I like spices — but when it looks like someone spilled a pepper shaker into your pasta — you know there might be too much spice. Will continue to order pizza and salads from Nick’s — but when I am craving other Italian dishes I will look elsewhere.

Love Nick’s. As someone who lives right at the corner, I have some options of pizza(Nicks, Fabios, Italian Village up the road and, of course, all the fast food pizza delivery joints) but Nick’s is generally my top choice. Their subs are excellent and I love that they are constantly changing and trying new toppings for their pizzas. A feature that I LOVE… ESPECIALLY in a mom n pop shop is that they allow online ordering! I find the dessert pizza a little tough to eat, but my son and his friends LOVE it. Paul is a GREAT guy, and I won’t forget him hooking up the entire town with flat rate pizza pies during hurricane Sandy and it’s aftermath. Great to have a family business in town, and great to have a relatively new shop take such a tremendous interest in the community. For those comparing this place to Emmas in Cranford, you are missing the point. This isn’t Emmas. This isn’t Sun Tavern. This is old school pizza and subs… and as long as that is what you are looking for, you will not be disappointed.

First and last time. Tried this place since they advertised thin crust pizza. Made the epic mistake of ordering the penne vodka pizza thinking it just had a bit of vodka sauce on it. Emma’s in Cranford makes a yummy one so assumed it would be like that. Nope. they dumped a pile of penne on top of with a glob of cheese. It was soaked through to the crust(super soggy) and inedible. The whole point of thin crust is crispy. The woman on the phone did not seem to care that we were unhappy with it. We threw it out. Waste of $ and never ordering from them again.

Stopped at nicks last weekend because the place next door happened to be closed and we were happy we did. We have had a hard time finding some good pizza around the area and we were pleasantly surprised! I had the Sicilian margarita and it as delicious. Great service and nice guys behind the counter too.
