The Summer Shift at Rockaway Beach

Summer Shift is just as super cute as former Rockaway Tacos was in this space. They did a great job with the art work and vegetation design. The food today, Navy, was excellent. Very upscale gourmet with all different flavors and textures. Very interesting combinations, yet so tasty! We tried the fish taco and the ceviche tastado. Both small yet with every bite, it seemed to taste like a new adventure.

Their website says they’re open at 11am all summer but they’re closed on a Friday in July. Very disappointing.

Cool concept rotating vendors within 2 adjacent popup spaces in the former Rockaway Taco space (which returns next summer). Visited July 3 (but didn’t dine in the garden), when it was:

Tasty $ 5 fish empanada (cash only), and they’ll be moving to the Palms space come July 14 when they vacate here.
