History

Established in 1995.

Spike’s began in 1995 at the former location of the Shamrock Bar at 1525 Division St. West. After a major addition to the building and the installation of a patio and sand volleyball courts, Spike’s became the party destination for people from all over southern Minnesota. In 2008 Spike’s once again went thru a transformation which included a total gutting and remodeling of the interior of the building. A state-​of-​the-​art sound stage and light show was installed along with accoustical treatments throughout the building. The result was the best entertainment venue in southern Minnesota! Mike is not new to the Faribault bar scene. Growing up in the family bar business has given him an opportunity to gain valuable experience at a rather young age. At the age of 42, Mike already has 24 years of bartending experience. Combine this experience with the young, energetic staff and you’ll see what makes Spike’s «the place to be».
