AVOID AVOID AVOID at ALL COST!
There is nothing else about this complex that makes it worth consideration. I have been here for almost 3 years and over spending the outrageous rent I pay. I love my apartment along with the friends that I have made her; however, management is ridiculous and not experienced, along with Alliance (management of the complex) is very unprofessional and never will return your phone call. The only time things will get done is if you call numerous times!
1. Way overpriced. You may think you have a deal but all you are paying for is fake management and amenities that will never be available due to some issue.
2. Lack of amenities. Oh, trust me they will promise the world to you and say they will be working or available but trust me they will not be available. The management knew about the serious issue with the pool last year (algae floating in the pool) and decide to gut the pool now (May 2016), promised it would be working my Memorial day and that was yet another false promise as it looks like a trash bin. They lie and say people are working on it; however, I face the pool and clearly see no one is working. The two times I saw workers out there, they did NOT look professional and there were only 2 men working.
The computers got stolen (from the business center) fall of 2013 and they just now got them replaced May 2016. Amenities here are a joke. It takes them forever to fix or replace anything, and if you complain or ask about the false updates or false status, then they will tell you that you are the ONLY one who complains which is a lie!
3. The garage «secure access» gate has worked about 6 months total in the 3 years I’ve been here. There are many times I had to exit through the entrance gate due to broken exit gate. You would think this is a maintenance emergency but NOTHING is ever an emergency at Broadstone and 12 calls later to the office, they manually came to open the gate.
4. Lots of loud and obnoxious residents have begun moving in. They clearly let ANYONE move in there! TRUST me you will regret ever signing a lease. Management cannot even keep employees to work there.
5. The unit I lived in had a major leak and they tried to fix it with stuck-​glue. I laughed and said nope, this is not a professional fix. Management had the nerve to tell me, «Do you know how expensive this is to fix»? Remind me if that is my concern? No, it is not! Another issue I had was when my hot water heater broke. I went to the office and they said to me, what you want me to do. Hilarious response, right? I called FB fire department; they arrived and shut it off before the emergency maintenance arrived. Then when the water heater was replaced, the staff did not bother to clean up the apartment.
6. Dog crap all over the place and loose dogs roaming the hallways.
I asked to move out early and they denied this. I then got a notice from management saying they are terminating the lease after the lease is up, which is comical as I was the one who asked to terminate the lease initially. Don’t waste your money. There are plenty of other complexes in the area that are nicer, less expensive and won’t drive you crazy. Just drive past this one.
I could go on and on forever, however, trust me; you do not want to reside here!!!

Front desk personnel is polite and professional– parking is amble but was disappointed that after moving in after only a month, there were some issues with burglaries in the parking lot. There are issues with sound and noise barriers as you can hear residents hallways away from where you are– music or loud speaking voice– strange for a place that is on a luxury quality level. A bonus is you get happy hour all day every day prices at Hibashi restaurant that is located within the Apartment community.

This review is solely based on the Addison Floorplan. It is fantastic for no more than 2 people. Plenty of space in the bedroom; I was able to buy and put a King bed set in here no problem. I also got a discount from the delivery company because we had elevators (sweet!). The kitchen is AMAZING ! The Windows and ceiling are high so it makes the 644+ sq ft apartment «feel» so much more spacious. The doors in the hallway leading to the bathroom can sometimes collided with each other so definitely be prepared to deal with that. But regardless, I still give this Floorplan 5 Stars ! The only thing I’m missing is a balcony and I’ll be speaking with Caprice about transferring to one of those floor plans but for now I’m really enjoying the ADDISON.

We saw the bad reviews here & almost didn’t move in. I’m really glad that we decided to give it a shot anyway (all the bad reviews were pretty old…) because it’s amazing. Not only is the leasing office staff amazing, but living here has been wonderful so far.
Caprice and Michael are the reasons we decided to live here vs everywhere else we looked. Caprice is bubbly and sweet and always remembers us by name when we come in — even BEFORE we signed the lease! Michael went out of his way to make sure we were 100% happy before move in. Karen and Amber are great, too!
I can say that it almost feels like we live here alone. I rarely ever see any neighbors, but when I do, everyone is extremely pleasant. It’s VERY quiet here — There’s an occasional loud person here and there, but it’s always on a weekend night and it doesn’t go on very late at all. It’s usually dead silent all during the week and by like 10 on weekends. That’s RARE.
There’s PLENTY of parking — I’ve never had an issue finding a close spot in the garage. The grounds are well maintained and any maintenance issues we have had were addressed almost immediately. (The only issue we had was just making sure that a crack in the door/​lock area wasn’t affecting the lock itself at move in.)
Don’t let the bad reviews deter you from moving in. If there WAS any truth to the claims in these bad reviews, the problem has long since been fixed. This place is amazing and the surrounding areas are gorgeous and green and there’s tons to do!

Great community and very prompt in their maintenance and customer service is great. The pool is clean, the gym very basic. No complaints so far.

This is a very nice property with wonderful amenities, a friendly staff on hand to support the community. Centrally located at the Tollway and 635 to get just about anywhere in the Metroplex.

I’ve been waiting for Broadstone to run my move out check so I could write this review and not worry about them pulling more of their terrible tactics. My problems started from Day 1, we did a walk through before I moved in and the amount of things wrong were shocking. There were loose pipes, the microwave and oven hadn’t been cleaned and the floor hadn’t been swept. Once I got everything moved in I tried to take a shower that nite and the hot water didn’t work. It took them almost a month to get the hot water heater working correctly. The A/​C also didn’t work very well, about 75% of the A/​C went into the bedroom and the rest into the living room. Broadstone’s way of fixing this was to bolt a plate over most of the A/​C vent in the bedroom. I came home one day after living there for about a month to find an eviction notice on my door saying I hadn’t paid my rent. When you move in you have to give them the first months check, proof of employment and renters insurance before they give you the keys. What had happened was the girl (who I had many issues with the rest of the year) had lost my check and not bothered to tell me. When I confronted them about it she claimed innocence and that I had never given her a check EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE TO GIVE THEM A CHECK TO MOVE IN. I had issues with neighbors the entire time, there was a neighbor who’s dog never shut up, when I complained about it the property manager simply said «they paid for their dog to be here». I also complained about my neighbors who played music all night long, loud basey club type of stuff that kept me up all nite. I actually called their regional management to complain about all the dog crap on the carpet and that was the only way to get anything done. The fire alarms went off every 3 days or so and would go off for hours, I asked why Broadstone hadn’t brought in a new company to fix this problem and it was like they just realized they could do that. It’s so over priced for where it is, everything in this area expensive but I looked at the complex down the street and it was 15−20% cheaper. They also called a town hall meeting in December to let us know about the renovations that were going on. They swapped their gym and their «Club» area. They originally said it would take 2 months and it took almost 5, I asked if we would be getting a break on our rent because we wouldn’t have access to all the amenities and the manager looked at me like I was crazy, he then told us our rents would be going up when we needed to resign our lease. The power was constantly going out, which parking in the garage with an electric door was a big problem. They have an exclusive deal with Time Warner so if you can’t get satellite on your balcony you’re screwed. The icing on the cake was when I was moving out. I did the walk through with the same idiot girl who I dealt with at the beginning (everyone else that worked there had left because of how terrible it was) and she told me the apartment was clean and I wouldn’t be charged. Big shock when i get a bill for almost $ 300 after my move out, mostly saying that I was being charged for, guess what, cleaning. I called Michael the GM and he was just as arrogant on the phone as he is in person, he told me that the person who did the walk through with me wasn’t authorized to do that and I was responsible for all the costs. I contacted the Texas Tenants Union and they were able to give me the info I needed to take care of my move out fees. I contacted the regional manager again, told he what was going on, then sent an email to Michael and the regional manager. They finally got my bill right then started calling me asking where the money was, I told them they had just updated my bill and the check was in the mail, it then took them almost 3 weeks to cash it. I’ve lived in 8 apartments in last 10 years and this was far and away the worst place I’ve ever lived in, look anywhere else but don’t stay here.

Best. Rental. Experience. Ever. I’m serious – The manager, Michael, was awesome to my family from day one. He helped us track down the perfect apartment to meet our needs. He was positive, involved, and kind throughout our entire stay at Broadstone Pkwy. Michael and his team are friendly and quick to respond to any needs. You can actually see them constantly working hard to keep people here satisfied: The staff works tirelessly to maintain the beautiful common spaces including upkeep of the trash room and even cleaning up after people’s pets the dog park (most residents are good enough to do it themselves, but the lazy ones get help from the staff.) The dogpark is completely enclosed and safe and a truly fun wide open space for dogs to run around and for people to mingle. Dogs and people were so friendly and the huge green space kept so clean that I was always comfortable letting my 3 year old play out there. The pool is a nice mix of young professionals kicking back but it’s also family-​friendly. The exercise room, mailroom, and other common areas are always well-​kept and well tended-​to. My car was always safe and I never felt uncomfortable in the parking garage. The location is incredible proximity to food, shopping, the toll road, and 635. I was never late to anything while I lived here! Maintenance is quick to respond, prices are fair, this is by far the best rental experience I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend Broadstone Parkway to any of my family and friends.
My husband and I own a house in Dallas which is now ready for us to move back into and to tell the truth I am kinda sad to be leaving this apartment! The layout was great, the people were friendly, and I’m really going to miss the convenience of living here!!!

Please take the reviews seriously as they are true. The place looks nice but once you move in it’s one thing after another. I was on the 3 rd floor and they have the thinnest walls I have ever experienced. I heard every move my neighbors made and could even hear their phone vibrate. We had an ant invasion and had to have the apartment sprayed. The fire alarms go off all the time and sometimes in the middle of the night and they don’t go off until the fire dept comes out to turn them off. I get the fact that apartments do updates and construction but the pool renovations started the day before Xmas and went on for 2 months with jack hammers and saws. I recorded the noise in my bedroom in case I had an issue with anything. I don’t want to sound like I’m just complaining but I want people to know this before they spend the money and time here. There are other things I’m not going to go into but something I will put out there is we had mold growing on our walls and window areas. This is no joke ! We had a mold professional come look at it and he said it was serious and that it’s under the flooring so them painting over like they did does not kill it, and sure enough it came right back. The sensor on the entry to our floor was broken for months. That’s the whole point of having a sensor so only you can enter the property! I hope they get these issues resolved.

Beautiful apartments. That’s it. There is nothing else about this complex that makes it worth consideration. I have been here for almost 2 years desperately trying to justify spending the outrageous rent I pay. I love my apartment, but I just can’t overlook the reality of this place.
1. Way overpriced. My rent has gone up $ 200 each year and it started out at over $ 1400. According to the front office, it is the market value. I recently had a friend drop by as a potential new resident and he was quoted $ 600 less for the same floor plan and level.
2. Dog crap all over the place. No one bothers to clean up the hallways leading to the dog park and mgmt doesn’t do anything about it.
3. The garage «secure access» gate has worked about 6 months total in the 2 years I’ve been here.
4. Unless you live on the top floor, you can hear the water rushing through pipes in the wall every time someone flushes a toilet. I’m not talking a faint noise. I mean you can hear the toilet or bathtub empty as if you were right there.
5. Lots of loud and obnoxious residents have begun moving in. I’ve got frat boys playing basketball and running up and down the halls at about 1AM, upstairs neighbors that sound like they are drunk wrestling every Friday, Saturday and Sunday night, and the police have been called out to break up the weekly domestic fights that happen with my other neighbors.
6. Last, but not least… the fire alarms. The freaking fire alarms. Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise – there is no new fire service company. These alarms have gone off at least once a month since I moved in. Usually at 2−4AM. This past 4 months they have gone off at least once a week. There is always some vague excuse why from the mgmt office. (Kid you not, I was once told one alarm incident was the result of burnt toast in the building across the street. But this set off the whole complex). As I type this, the alarms have been going off for about 10 – 15 minutes.
I’m handing in my move out notice this week. Don’t waste you money. there are plenty of other complexes in the area that are nicer, less expensive and won’t drive you crazy. Just drive past this one.

I enjoyed staying here. The dog park is always clean when I am out. I never here any noise from neighbors and the property is always clean. The only thing I dislike and gets one star minus is the pool. It doesn’t have chlorine in it and doesn’t look the most clean on the weekends after a million people have been in it. The company needs to put chlorine in the pool! Aside I love the property and location!

You will see that I literally copied some things from the other reviews because we agree 100%. We lived here for a little more than 2 years.
Do NOT stay here! What a terrible place! What are my thoughts behind this? Let me count the ways …
1. Office manager (Mike) is nice and professional. HOWEVER, his staff is RUDE. What a bunch of jerks. We even met a person that used to live here that got into an argument with the same person that we did. I won’t even mention her name because I feel bad for her.
2. Maintenance issues are never resolved on the first, second, or third calls. It usually takes multiple phone calls to have anything fixed.
3. While I did meet a few residents who were nice, I really have to worry about a place where people’s pets poop in the hallways, in the elevators, and all over the side walks outside. DISGUSTING!!! (agree 100%).
4. Fire Alarms are pulled regularly in the middle of the night. Waking up to ear piercing sirens in at 3 — 4 am is never pleasant, especially when it takes the Fire Department 2 hours to turn them off. (very unpleasant experience).
6. The gates and doors don’t always work. In fact, way too often to be honest.
While Broadstone is conveniently located. I cannot recommend it.

We’ve just signed on for year number five here at Broadstone Parkway. The apartment units themselves are some of the best you’ll find — granite, stainless, all very nice looking. The leasing office, clubhouse, and pool area have also recently been updated and are wonderful spaces to hang out.
You may read about fire alarms going off. This used to be SO, so true. It was bad and I was VERY upset about it (rightfully so). These issues really have been fixed and we haven’t had a problem in quite some time. If they were still an issue, I’d certainly be gone by now.
Building maintenance has been great — they’re quick and courteous. Sometimes there are things like broken gates and doors that take a while to fix because they have to order parts, but you’re going to find that anywhere you go.
The only problem we encounter on occasion is the leasing office hours — not so good for us 9 to 5ers who want to pick up packages and can’t because we leave for work before they open and come home after they close. HOWEVER — if you need a package and can’t get there to pick it up by close, they’ve been extremely nice on multiple occasions, dropping packages off in our apartment.
Mike (the manager) is a really good guy. If you have reservations/​problems, please share them — he really wants to know and he wants to do what he can to make your experience better. We talk with him all the time and he really does give a damn. He wants to make this place as good as it can be.
Overall, now that the fire alarm issue is behind us, the place is as good as apartment living gets in this price range. In all our time here, we’ve rarely heard a peep from anyone (rarely SEE anyone in the halls even). And the area is hard to beat — we walk to the Galleria for dinner and shopping all the time. Easy 635 and Tollway access. Every store you’d ever need within a couple miles.

Do NOT stay here! What a terrible place! What are my thoughts behind this? Let me count the ways …
