History

Established in 1936.

When patients need eye care, their first step is a complete doctor’s examination from a doctor they trust. They then turn to a trained TSO optical staff to provide them with eyewear that helps them see and look better. Standards of care throughout TSO include doctors who have earned therapeutic licenses to treat many medical eye care conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, cataracts and childhood vision problems. Business Owner

Dr. Nitin Patel Is a therapeutic optometrist who practices family eye care at this full-​scope optometric practice in Farmers Branch. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 1992.

Dr. Patel has 19 years of eye care experience and is committed to providing the highest quality eye care and patients experience. He achieves this using current technology, advanced optical products and an attentive and highly skilled staff.

Dr. Patel is trained in co-​management of pre and post-​op cataract surgery and LASIK. He has a special interest in the treatment and management of ocular diseases such as red eye, dry eye, foreign body removal, and glaucoma. In addition to providing thorough eye examinations and prescriptions for glasses and contact lenses he can diagnose and treat most medical eye conditions.
