Nick, the owner of Check Point is a responsible and conscientious business owner. Now, this isn’t the classic story, «I brought my car in, they fixed it, great job». But that’s what makes it even better.
First of all, I called about bringing the car in because the a/​c wasn’t working. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. I got the call that they replaced the freon but also put a special dye in to locate potential leaks and that the a/​c was now working. Unfortunately, I was not able to pick up the car for a few days.
When I was finally able to pick it up I found that the a/​c was actually not working. This was a big problem since I was going on a 4 hour road trip with my family the next day and it was hot out. I called Nick and he told me to bring the car in right away and he would have more than one mechanic work on it to get it ready. Using some kind of dye in the system, they found the area where the leak was and fixed it. We went on our trip and everything was great.
The next day, it stopped working. When we got home, I brought the car back to Nick. He was apologetic and he and his mechanics «tore «the car apart until they found another leak that was in the same area but in a place that doesn’t usually leak.
Nick fixed it but was so worried about building my confidence in him that he told me not to pay him until I tested the car out for a few days!!! I couldn’t believe it! He definitely has my confidence!!! It works beautifully now! This was a difficult problem and he worked hard and quickly to fix it! The cost was very reasonable even though there were many problems. He didn’t try to add a ton of charges onto the price either!
WOW! A REPUTABLE BUSINESS OWNER. I RECOMMEND CHECK POINT VERY HIGHLY TO ANYONE WHO HAS CAR PROBLEMS!!! I WAS EXTREMELY IMPRESSED!!!
