Smart EyeCare Center was first established in Augusta, Maine in January 1990 and provides primary vision care for many communities throughout the state. Our family focused, Maine small business has been voted Best Eyecare practice in both the Augusta and Bangor locations for a number of consecutive years. We are recognized as an outstanding business by the Kennebec Valley Chamber of Commerce. Our practice takes pride in our well-​trained employees. Smart EyeCare Center front desk administrators, technicians and opticians hold many national certifications. We are in the forefront of our industry using the latest technology, such as Electronic Medical Record Keeping, Optomap Retinal Scan, Optical Coherence Tomography as well as other advanced diagnostic equipment. Smart EyeCare currently has three convenient locations, no long wait for appointments and accepts most major insurance plans.
