Honda of Fayetteville

I bought my 2015 Honda Accord here last year and my experience was fantastic. However, the people who take care of the service of your car have no customer service skills at all. I was trying to find the guy that was handling my car, I couldn’t find him so obviously I asked the only guy in the little cubicle. He looked at me like I just interrupted his favorite TV show. He sighed and was like, «I don’t know where he is, but I’ll find him!» So sarcastic and so demeaning. I don’t know why I came back here when I need an oil change, but this is the last. I gave it 2 stars because they do have excellent sales professionals that will help find the car you’re looking for, but when it comes to basic car service, go somewhere else.

Met by John, a friendly sales guy at the front door and we were offered test drives and a low pressure pitch. We wanted and picked out a white CRV EX-L+Navigation. Nothing discussed seemed out of the question. We had reviewed what our trade in was worth through several sources and were willing to take a little less to get through the process. However, John passed us on to his manager, who appeared to want to take the parent role, and not only completely minimized the value of our trade in but wanted quite a few more dollars than True Car showed these vehicles are selling for. He wasn’t budging so we said goodbye.
Contrast this with the same sort of scenario about an hour later at Roper Honda in Joplin, MO. Met by Brian Shaw, the New Car Manager at the front door and assisted by Clifton in sales, not only did we not have to fight to get the deal we wanted, we did a lot better and instead of the EX-L+N, we drive off in a more expensive Touring for the same dollars. I’ve down less time walking around WalMart for the weekly groceries than the time it took at Roper Honda — sure the trip was an hour each way, but it was worth it for the $$$ we saved.
I was so surprised by Automall — over the years I have bought three different vehicles from them, but for a dealer on January 2^nd with vast stock of this vehicle to play this so hard… need two more family cars this year. I’ll be shopping in Joplin.

My dad and I traveled 1.5 hrs to Fayetteville to purchase a Honda CR-​V. It was worth the drive because we were very happy with our whole experience.
Galberto Monroy is the man you need to see! He was kind, patient, and knowledgeable. I got to test drive the car and after agreeing to buy it, I got a thorough explanation of everything inside the car. He helped me sync my phone to the bluetooth system and showed me how to add speed dial numbers along with the voice dialer. My mom and a friend of mine also has a CR-​V that they got from another dealer. All they got was a «thank you for your business» and off they went. They did not get the personal experience I got with Honda of Fayetteville. Galberto did not let us leave until all our questions were answered. My dad and I both got follow up phone calls and emails to make sure everything is in order. They really made us feel appreciated.
It took a lot of negotiating but we left with the price that WE wanted. I couldn’t ask for anything better. Galberto, I hope you get that Vegas trip from Honda because you deserve it!

Really horrible experience with the people here.
Was directly ignored by 2 people on a non-​busy day. The guy that ended up helping us was shooting for «Mr. Salesman of the year» and was trying to buddy up with us the entire time and attempted to sell us on everything. He didn’t let either of us test drive, however, and instead talked about what a great car it was from the driver seat as we rode along with him.
Upon noticing we were actually interested in buying a car, an upper level guy that rudely ignored us before tried to be buddy-​buddy with us as well when we started looking at paper work. We ended up making them mad by going to a better deal and friendlier people at Frank Fletcher Honda in Bentonville. To get back at us they ran a credit check on us after we left just so that our credit score would be slightly lower (raising our interest rate) an hour later when we did buy the car.
They are the epitome of rude, pushy salesmen. At no point did I feel like I was talking to a normal person and just having a conversation about cars. It was as bad (or worse) than in movies.
Afterward, I found out from a handful of my friends that they had a similar experience here at Landers. Wished I had talked to them before.
