Master Shim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do is the leading provider of martial arts instruction for children, adults, and families in the Atlanta, Ga area. We currently have locations in Fayetteville, Peachtree City, and soon to open Newnan, GA.

History

Established in 2005.

Grandmaster Sun Ki Chon began operating full time professional martial arts schools in 1985 when he opened the first of two «Sun Chong Tae Kwon Do Centers» in Syracuse, NY. From 1989 through 1995, Grandmaster Chong served as Head Coach for the U.S. National Tae Kwon Do team for five international events, including the 1995 Pan-​Am Games.

In 1992, Grandmaster Chong a full time Director of Operations, with the goal of establishing new schools in the Buffalo, N.Y. area. The first was opened in Williamsville, N.Y. Later, with four more schools the name and logo of Master Chong’s World Class Tae Kwon Do Centers was trademarked in 1997 and adopted as the official name of the schools.

World Class Tae Kwon Do is proud to have trained staff members to go on to open their own schools. Master Shim’s World Class Tae Kwon Do originally opened in 2005 in Fayetteville, GA under the leadership of Master Jae C. Shim. Later in 2011, a second location in Peachtree City was opened and is thriving.
