History

Established in 1982.

Dr. Barbara J. Ciampa is a native of Fayetteville who has been practicing here since 1982. She specializes in comprehensive eye exams. In 2007, Dr. Ciampa and her husband, optician Richard Sheetz, formed Metrospecs to provide outstanding eyewear to both their own patients and others seeking state-​of-​the-​art frames and lenses.

Meet the Business Owner

Richard S.

Business Owner

Richard is a North Carolina Licensed Optician with over 20 years of experience. He has a B.S. in Mathematics from University of Alabama Birmingham (UAB) and an Associates degree in Opticianry from Durham (NC) Technical Community College. He is both ABO and NCLE certified and is a Fellow of the National Academy of Opticianry. Richard and his wife Dr. Barbara Ciampa have owned and operated eye clinics in Fayetteville, NC for over 20 years.
