My experience with Parrot Bay Pools has been nothing short of a nightmare. What was supposed to be a 1 – 2 week minor job has now spanned more than two months and is still not finished. I hired them to install a new liner on my inground pool due to the age and cosmetics of the previous liner. With the new liner, my pool is now leaking, the light is inoperable and the liner floor has ripples in the deep end. Let me also mention that once they receive your money, you will be required to initiate all communication for the rest of the time. When you can get them to communicate on the phone, you will hear how busy the owners are with so called customers and that they will call you back. Good luck! Go to the store and you will see it is forever empty. This is no surprise after dealing with them. I hired a new pool company and they had the problems caused by Parrot Bay and their subcontractor identified and repairs started within an hour. Unfortunately I just paid more money to fix what PBP and their subcontractor caused due to poor workmanship. PBP continues to blame the liner leak on «plumbing» when in reality the leaks were caused by improper installation, wrong parts and a lack of attention to detail. PBP stated they would no longer help us and were«done with us» although problems remained. How’s that for customer service? This business is a prime example of inexperience and lacks professionalism. Go ahead and read the counter reviews online and you will see they are clearly written by PBP. Again, this has been a horrible experience and I would not recommend them to anyone. Also of note is the owners of PBP also own The Custom Edge, another stellar business. Good luck finding reviews though. This business has a history of having poor reviews removed and friends post as customers stating how happy they are with PBP. Run away! –I promise you won’t regret it!
