ZipQuest – Waterfall & Treetop Adventure

My wife and I and our 15yo son had a great time here! Our guides Shiloh and Ryan were entertaining, informative and very professional. The 8 zip lines were a blast and the scenery was beautiful! A must do if you are anywhere near Fayetteville.
We had done zip lines in Haiti and while the one there was one of the longest in the world I liked this one as much or more. That one was one shot and it’s over. These stretched out and you got to prolong the fun!!!

So much fun and definitely worth it! 8 zips ranging from 150 to 800 feet each, the beautiful waterfall, rope bridges, unique spiral staircases that wrap around the trees, natural beauty and safe adventure together.

Awesome experience! From making a reservation to checking out, every single person who worked here was so kind and fun. The zips were fun and the swing shot is definitely a thrill. Our guides were very helpful and well educated about zipping as well as the surroundings. A great family experience. Highly recommended if you are in the area!

Went 3 weeks ago and had an amazing time!!! I’m terrified of heights but the workers there made me feel so comfortable. They take tons of pictures for you that you can buy later on (not exspenvie at all)…there are two stations with water, trust me you’ll want some lol. If I could rate this more than 5 stars I would!

BEST thing to do in Fayetteville, NC with your family and/​or friends!
For all you cautious mothers checking Unilocal first to try to find some small shred of supporting evidence that no, you and your children should NOT be zipping through the forest, please be open-​minded about allowing yourself and loved ones to have the most amazing day of your life. I, too, was one of you a mere week ago.
Don’t be scared — the staff are well-​trained and base their decisions and performance off of protocols and standard procedures. In plain speak, this means that they don’t THINK they connected your straps and carabiners correctly, they KNOW they did.
Don’t worry about doing something wrong — the staff handle all the connections for your gear and you will be told not to do anything without permission. Translation: your kids won’t be allowed to be unhooking things and endangering themselves. Again, in plain speak, they babysit you.
For each zip, a staff member will be guiding you at both your launching and your landing platforms. You won’t get confused, stranded, or run into. Communication is constant between the guides via radio and other lines of communication.
There are 2 water stations along your zip route to rehydrate. You are not allowed to take loose items such as water bottles up into the trees with you.
Portapotties are located near the front office, so plan accordingly…
Photo package was $ 7 per person, which can add up if you have a large group. If it’s your first time, I would get the photo package, but the con is that the photo ops quickly become a distraction during your quest. Next time (yes, I said NEXT TIME!), I won’t do photos simply because I don’t want to keep stopping for pictures — I just want to enjoy the activity!
Our guides were personable and made us comfortable right away. We enjoyed being educated about the types of trees along our zip route as well as other regional factoids. I enjoyed seeing Carver Falls from a cable walk-​bridge during our quest — beautiful and rare! What a great way to share the Piedmont of North Carolina with your family and friends! The main office offers local honey and other locally products, with recommendations for local dining out.

My first time going zip lining and it was absolutely so much fun. The staff was not only entertaining but made sure of our safety; in addition very knowledgable about the history of the area. Kept us in the know of what to expect and took pictures throughout the tour. I would not only recommend this place but I would go again.

We took our daughter on a weekend adventure for her 16^th birthday, which included, amongst other things, the zip line canopy tour and swingshot at ZipQuest. Our guides were awesome and we had a blast. It’s nice that you can add the photo package and no one has to worry with capturing the moment… everyone can just enjoy! Highly recommended! Can’t wait to go back and do the night zip!

Jeff knows beyond a doubt that I will never *never* go skydiving with him. It’s a non-​negotiable.
But his birthday was coming up, and I wanted to give him the gift of a slightly less death-​defying adventure. After a little research into the matter, a little green tree frog won me over (I mean, a tree frog would never endorse something that wasn’t safe, right?), and I signed us up for a ZipQuest excursion.
I was admittedly nervous about jumping off platforms of varying heights into the great unknown suspended only from a cable. But after a bit of «land school» and some positive affirmations from our two hilarious tour guides, even the 8-​year-​olds in my group weren’t backing down from the challenge. And what a gorgeous challenge it was! While it’s no Costa Rica or Hawaii, who knew Fayetteville had such scenery? The climactic waterfall zip is really lovely, and the hanging bridges were a great way to get a little extra time to view the falls.
Yes, there is a bit of waiting while the rest of your crew takes their zips, but our group had such fantastic camaraderie that I found it really fun cheering everyone on. And the price is a bit hefty, but I really respect how much effort our guides put in to keep us safe and having a great time.
As soon as we finished, Jeff and I were ready to seek out other zip lining experiences — ZipQuest had us hooked, and we’ll definitely be back for more. Next time: The Night Zip!

If you want an adrenaline rush, try their new swingshot! They haul you up really high and then let you drop. You swing back and forth several times. Hence, it’s like a swing to the nth degree.
Boyfriend and I purchased their swingshot for 2 on Groupon for $ 16, which is ordinarily a $ 30 value. Really great savings!
Downside? The swingshot is pretty quick. If you check out their website, they have a youtube video of what it’s about. My boyfriend and I finished in about 20 minutes. My boyfriend said he would’ve liked it to last a bit longer, but he loves stuff like this. However…
Upside? It’s definitely an adrenaline rush! I didn’t expect to get so high and my feet practically touched the top of a hella tall tree! It’s was pretty ridiculous! Definitely lots of fun. Reminds me of a rollercoaster rush when you drop, except there’s nothing beneath you. Oh! And a tip? Make sure you go to the bathroom ahead of time. You don’t any accidents, if ya know what I mean. Hahahaha…

This was such a fun adventure! (My balls got a bit smooshed, but it was worth it!) Our guides Greg and Neisha were informative, fun, and made us feel safe as we zipped through the canopy. Highly recommend it!

Loved it, the staff is nice and let’s you go at your own pace. They have patience with newbies and young kids. And it’s extremely fun, I strongly recommend it.

Such an awesome experience! Totally worth every bit and the instructor/​guides were amazing! Beyond five stars! My little nephew got over his fear of heights and was totally excited to do it again by the end!

My family and I went to Zipquest last Sunday to celebrate my sister’s birthday and we had an absolute blast! The guides were friendly, fun loving, and were very safety oriented. The course itself was 8 zips, 3 suspension bridges and it took about 2.5 hours to complete it. The landscape is beautiful and includes creeks and a waterfall! My only complaint is that you have to spend a lot of time standing around in between zips. This cannot be avoided however, due to safety issues. The guides have to constantly clip and unclip everyone in the party, to the safety lines on the platforms. I also think the price is a little high, but we had a Groupon so it was well worth it. I would definitely do it again!

The staff at the adventure center at ZipQuest were very accommodating and great! We got rained out on Father’s Day weekend and the staff suggested that since we had young teens and this was the first time for some of us, it would be better all around experience if we came back for the Zip Canopy tour on a nicer day. We took their advice and did it a month later.
Steven and Jeremy (the sweep man… or ”sweet man” as our group would call him affectionately) were the best! We spent upwards of two hours in the trees zipping from one platform to another… I think our longest was 600 feet and we got up to about 95-​feet above ground. The rope bridges were quite cool too.
Highlight was zipping over the falls and gazing at the grist mill on the banks. Cool that they named all the trees after women. Consuela was my fav.
Anyway, for those that love nature and are tree-​huggers without being to sappy about it… this is the place for you.

SO MUCH FUN! We spent two and a half hours swinging from trees, laughing and having a great time! Our tour guide was so much fun. I would recommend it to anyone!

Ziplining is so much fun! I went with my sister and niece. The night tour was excellent. Brandon and Nick did a great job as our guides. If you have a challenge with heights, night time is the way to go.

Really a wonderful afternoon.
This experience far outweighed my expectations. I was even a little nervous due to my fear of heights but I felt so safe the entire afternoon. I even got used to being in the trees.
I took a couple of friends and we all had a great time. It was really one of those once in a life time experiences. I really want to go back during different seasons to see how the environment changes.
Our guides were Greg and Muffin. They were very funny, informative and safe.
I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a bit of adventure in the Fayetteville area!
