I only go because the fam insists. I have the highest of hopes every time but so sadly disappointed. First of all the food is seriously questionable. It’s like the lowest grade available. And the whole crab leg situation amazes me. Grown men and women tongs in hand literally out for death. The tray comes out and it’s an attack. I have witnessed adults pushing children out of the way to get those skinny little crab legs. Jeez go to Acme and buy some to cook at home. I thought I’d give it a shot and was told(in broken English) by a robust lovely woman that she was here first and I will not be getting any crab. I avoid that area at all cost. Then there is the tables of people drinking vodka from tea cups. It’s just strange. The coconut shrimp is really good and that’s about all I eat there. I know it’s burned down and I’m hoping the rebuild will be a little better.

So the big news is that this place was burned to a crisp this past Sunday night due to a kitchen fire. Per media reports, the owner is interested in rebuilding. We shall see… In the meantime, concerned locals need not worry about where to get their Chinese buffet fix. Below is a list I assembled. You’re welcome. :) Hibachi Grill and Supreme Buffet Cottman and Castor Shopping Center 2051 Cottman Ave, Philadelphia, PA19149 Dynasty Buffet 301 Franklin Mills Cir Philadelphia, PA19154 Grand China Buffet 29 Franklin Mills Blvd Philadelphia, PA19154 New Hong Kong King Buffet 538 Oxford Valley Rd Levittown, PA19054 Grand Buffet Chinese Restaurant 646 York Rd Warminster, PA18974 Easton Buffet Creek View Shopping Center 377 Easton Rd, Warrington, PA18976 Hibachi Grill & Supreme Buffet 232 Commerce Cir Bristol, PA19007

Due to an early morning fire the restaurant is a total loss. The fire started in the kitchen and spread quickly to the roof and seating area. If the restaurant reopens hopefully it will improve their offerings as they were just 4 years ago. Time will tell…

Good, clean buffet in this area. It’s busy but there’s plenty of space with a nice big party room. Sushi bar and hibachi grill are an awesome bonus. Not sure what people are talking about — the wait staff is good(some have language barrier but not the majority) and the sushi selection is plentiful. Def would bring a big party here for lunch or dinner.

This place is fair at best. Sushi was limited selection. Waitresses forgot about our drinks when we sat down. Sushi was ok. My girlfriend liked the string beans. Overall not a great impression for $ 14 per plate. There was a bad language barrier, but I guess that is to be expected.

I had a decently pleasant experience here when I came with a large party a few weeks ago for a birthday party. We sat at a long table in the back room and the service was of course limited to drinks, but it was good and speedy. It’s also a BYOB place, which I think is a big plus. The place is very large and whether you have a big party like we did or a small group, they will have more than ample room. The tables and chairs are comfortable but far from fancy. They do their job. The food is just ok. The selection is large but the quality is not that great. If you’re thinking Vegas buffet, you’ll be disappointed. I had higher expectations because of the offering of snow crab made me hope that there would be other good stuff. The crab legs were of low quality and would get snatched up as soon as they came out. They mixed in some super tasteless lobster claws with the crab legs. The standard Chinese fare like kung pao chicken was good as were the fried shrimp. The desserts were uninspired and the fruit should have been allowed to ripen. I like buffets, so I would come back, but wasn’t all that impressed. The price was pretty reasonable from what I remember.

If you’re looking for cheap, decent seafood, this is the place to go. My family comes here about 4 times a year for their crabs, shrimps, and shellfish. The customer service is decent most of the time and the food replenishes quickly. The only complaint I have is that the tongs can get sticky and the floor can get wet and sticky at times. This is definitely not for someone looking for a fancy buffet or restaurant and I would not recommend this place for a first date, but I’d bring some of my pals who can devour a plate of crabs to this place.

I’ve been going to this buffet for years. By this point, I don’t really look forward to it anymore. The food is mostly just okay. They have a pretty large array of options, mostly American Chinese or American(pizza, garlic bread, pigs in a blanket). There are quite a few seafood and fruit options compared to other places, but that’s probably because it’s a larger buffet. There’s also sushi and a station where they stir-fry for you. Desserts are hit or miss like the rest of the buffet. I don’t like ant of the cakes; usually, I go for the custard buns(奶黄包) if they have them. You can’t go wrong with ice cream or frozen yogurt, either, and the apple pie is pretty good(though not traditional-looking). The dinner buffet includes crab legs, which go really fast, but they’re not that good – just average. You have to be pretty aggressive to get some. The restaurant is old but not badly maintained. They clear away empty dishes pretty quickly. The smell from the restaurant leaves stays in your clothes and hair. Definitely wash everything after you leave.

Used to go here a lot awhile back because I loved the food and price. Isn’t the worst buffet around, but could definitely improve on little things. I didn’t like the waitresses/waiters standing over you waiting for you to finish or need a refill. Other than that service seemed very friendly! Some food was warm(not hot) while others were cold! Maybe changing them more than once every 2 hours is good.

I’ve been coming here since I was a little girl but it has gone steadily and rapidly down hill. Skimpy food, not fresh, and rude staff. I’m so disappointed. This used to be one of my absolute favorite places. I hope things turn around and they get back to the way things used to be.

If I could give this place no stars I would, but I have to give it something to leave my review. Cold, stale food that’s been sitting out on steam tables that are supposed to keep things at least warm. I was disgusted at how filthy the plates were. Old food still stuck on them after being washed and put back out. It’s as if they never washed them. I was even more appalled they didn’t sanitize the tables after customers left. The waiter and waitress actually used napkins in the used cups of people who had just left the restaurant and cleaned off the tables with that, leaving new silverware on the table for the next customer. Not once did any of them wash their hands or use hand sanitizer as they handled dirty silverware and plates and handed out refills and such to other customers. Never, ever, ever again.

15 years ago, this used to be the Go To place, now, it’s absolutely disgusting. The quality of the food is horrible, the selection is horrible, the servers are friendly, but that’s about it. Surprised that this place is still open.

so, things have changed a bit but we still dine there, just less often. Found a better fresher, and more interesting buffet! Easton Buffet in Warrington!

Highly processed mass produced food. All you can eat buffet for a cheap price. However you will go here and eat until you can’t eat anymore, and then an hour later you will be hungry again because the food does not have anything in it. Almost like eating plastic. MSG additives used in all of the food. The place is nice however in terms of the way it looks. Pretty clean and well taken care of. However, like I said the food quality here is some of the poorest.

This place is so obviously dirty and dated. With that said, the buffet has a huge selection of both Chinese and American foods and desserts. Most items are average, a few are incredible, and a few are just downright nasty. On the«incredible» list of items, there are the crab legs, seaweed salad, and general’s chicken. Good luck, though, getting past all of the Russians to access the crab leg tray. Sometimes, it’s actually impossible to get a single leg while dining. With this said, the rest of the food is simply average Chinese; heavy sauces, mysterious chicken, beef, and seafood, and greasy side dishes. Don’t go near the ice cream; it’s a disaster. This place could be improved, as well as its clientele; these people are simply buffet freaks and can really impede on a positive experience. The staff is also rude and unyielding to requests.

The food is greasy, the labels poor, and the service brusque. HOWEVER, there is a wide array of foods so choosing less greasy options is entirely possible, and its great for groups who like a wide array of foods. Don’t expect a fine dining experience, but if you are aiming to be socializing it’s great since the waiters don’t keep checking up on you, and there are so many different types of food, so you don’t have to worry about picky eaters. I come here every couple of months with my family and we all have a great time exploring and trying new things. Waiters/Waitresses: The one assigned to you really just shows up to take your drink order and that is it, but as a whole they are friendly, and a lot of the girls are really good with kids Food: Goes from lil’smokies wrapped in philo dough to squid and back again. They provide several American dishes in addition to a wide range of Asian foods. Greasy but flavorful, lots of options, low end but decent sushi, enjoyable hot tea Cleanliness: About average for a buffet Price: 8 – 12 dollars or so depending on the time of day Atmosphere: Sort of cafeteria like as far as the tables are concerned, a little noisy sometimes. The restaurant is spacious and has a well layed out buffet area, and a cute indoor fish pond and waterfall as you enter(far away from any tables or food) Summary: Not a good place for dates, but a great place for having a casual lunch with a bunch of friends or family

Why… why… why… I don’t understand people who choose to go here to eat. I go to these crappy buffets only because someone else takes me and I’m obligated to go. As thankful as I am in a free meal, please for the love of God, let’s spend the money on something enjoyable that won’t kill us in the process. I normally reserve one star reviews for places with bad food and bad service. I honestly would give this place one and a half stars since the waitress seemed pretty impatient. But having lived in China for over a decade, and the mere fact that she worked at this shithole, I thought I’d give her some slack. Also, the staff here all spoke Mandarin, not Cantonese so i don’t know how authentic the«Hong Kong» is. So yeah… greasy food and lots of it. I saw a whole lot of whales when I was here. Makes me feel sorry for the cooking staff having to churn out buckets of slop to keep their hunger at bay. Needless to say, all I eat at these buffets is a single plate of fruits and maybe a small piece of «steak» so that people don’t badger me to keep eating. Parking: Just don’t Price: Just don’t Wait: Why

Dislike. Almost no veggies offered other than drenched Caesar-ish salad and the veg on the stir fry station that looks a little long in the tooth. It is clear everyone comes here for the seafood. I do not eat that what breathes water and with that said the fishy smell when walked in was stomach turning. People are scarfing it down in high piled plates so what hell do I know. I will gladly not come back here again. ever.
