This is one of the largest Jewish cemetery in Trevose Pa. They maintain the park quite well. I believe they do accept anyone but it is known primarily Jewish. As others have said they honor all Jewish transitions. Plus the staff is helpful. The site is awe inspiring.

This long-respected Jewish Cemetary offers traditional(with respect to Jewish Law) burials in a special section. Ask about it. It is the least expensive option and it’s an amazing«last mitzvah» one can do for their loved ones. There is a Philadelphia group that performs the Tahara and arranges for a Shomer(who recites psalms/prayers around the clock on behalf of the deceased) until they are transported to the cemetary. It’s helpful for mourners to know their loved one is not alone from the moment of death. Even if they weren’t «observant» in life, it does not matter. RIP, to my Bubby & Pa! The BEST!

Beautiful cemetery just over the city line in Bensalem. Parts of it are old, but I know it’s still in use. Most of my family has plots there. The lawns are nicely manicured, and they take care of the stones.

Roosevelt Memorial Park is a Jewish Cemetary and it is NOT closed — I attended a funeral there a few days ago. I also attended a funeral there 5 years ago and sat under the SAME blue awning. The rabbi officiating was very good and the service was a nice commemoration of a life well-lived. Yes, it is a crowded, old cemetary — so maybe it lists as closed because maybe there are no new plots available?
