If we moved back to Denver, we wouldn’t move back to these apartments. Pros: 1) Maintenance was always really nice. Cons: 1) The office staff(particularly the manager) is rude to women but nice to men. She was always pretty caddy with me but she was super sweet with my husband. 2) The apartments are stuffy and feel really small and we were in the biggest unit they have. 3) The AC doesn’t work. We had that thing on all day every day and our apartment was still really hot in the summer. 4) The dog park is not maintained like it should be so be prepared to have to clean up lots of poop if you want a clean place for your dog to play. 5) There are kids running around without supervision, yelling, screaming, and pestering our dogs. 6) They are wasteful and water the grass constantly, even when it has rained, and guess who pays for it… you. 7) I saw my first MOUSE at the end of August. By the time I moved out on October 7th, I had killed 13 mice and there were still many more. Come to find out, the whole M building was infested and they were just laying traps… Management didn’t offer any kind of compensation for this but instead were put out that they actually had to work. I couldn’t wait to get out of that mice infested place. I do not recommend this place at all, even for the cheaper price.

I have lived at Hunters Cove since April of 2011, signed a 13 month lease. Pros: Low deposit! My deposit was only $ 100. At my last few apartments the deposit was anywhere from $ 300-$ 740. Location Great Location. If you live in Colorado you know you are going to be spending sometime on the highways. Only 5 minutes away from I-25 and 104th. Only 8 minutes away from Highway 36 and 104th/Church Ranch. Great office staff, they are friendly and professional. Neighbors, Hunters Cove ranks in the top 3 quietest apartments I have ever lived in. Good neighbors. If you ever have a problem with a loud neighbor in the middle of the night you can call«courtesy patrol» and they will quiet them down for you. Hot tub, I would give the hot tub an 8 out of 10, only because the jets could be a little better but the temperature is always very hot(I hate luke warm«hot tubs»). Parking, When you move in you get an assigned COVERED parking spot. At my last apartment it was first come first serve, which is ridiculous. When I get home from work the last thing I want to do is circle my apt complex looking for a spot. Covered parking might not seem like a big deal but it is when you have all black interior in your car like I do. It keeps those first 10 minutes in my car from being unbearable in the summer and a lot less snow removal in the winter. This comes at no additional cost to you! Pool, The pool is pretty standard. Again, if I was gonna rate it I would give it 8 out of 10. This is because of the trees located directly around the pool. They don’t block the sun but the leaves and pollen end up in the pool sometimes. The maintenance staff is really good about keeping the pool clean though so the leaves/pollen don’t accumulate. Wi-fi is also available pool-side. 2 bathrooms(kept very clean). A drinking fountain and a Coke machine. Maintenance The maintenance staff is fast and friendly. My heat went out in the middle of winter and the office was already closed. I called the 24 hour maintenance line. Rather than making me wait until the next morning they sent someone over within a few hours and had my heat up and running again. Cons: The only thing I wish I had more of is storage space. I have a lot of Christmas stuff and tools and it was a little like Tetris trying to figure out how I was gonna fit it all in the storage closet on the balcony. I made it work though. I will update when I move out in May 2012 and include the dreaded move-out/cleaning charges.
