Why is it that every single teriyaki restaurant I visit has sticky tables? I’m talking about every one of them too! Is it the way the food is cooked? The way they clean things? I just don’t understand it. With that said however, this place gets 3 stars. It’s on the bottom of my list of teriyaki places but it’s still on the list and I actually return to places that are on my list. Dark meat chicken was charred well and delicious. They served me a bowl of soup as an appetizer for dining in. The gyoza was good as well as the salad. The salad dressing was good not great and the teriyaki sauce was a little off but I don’t have any major complaints about anything. My food was delivered quickly and was a good temperature. The staff was friendly and treated me well. I choose my teriyaki restaurants based on my rating of them first and then by their location to wherever I may be at the time. I chose this one while my car was being repaired and it turned out to be a good decision. I will be back when I am in the area and looking for a teriyaki meal. My only request is for the restaurant to add Sriracha sauce with their condiments. I did use the hot sauce they provided but I’d prefer Sriracha instead or at least the option. Thanks for reading.

Horrible Food and service. The lady came with Beef Mongolian instead of Spicy Schezwan Beef. When we told her it was the wrong order she flat out denied it. My husband said it was sweet and she said ‘just add hot sauce on top’… My husband returned the food because it was so sweet after 2 bites. With Christian music playing in the background, at might think they are honest and will the have the courtesy to say sorry the least. Our first and last time.

I would usually give this place 5 stars, but unfortunately the last two times I’ve been here hasn’t been very pleasant. I love the owner, most down to earth owner I’ve ever met. I love the chicken katsu here and I love all the previous employees. However the last time I was here was about a month ago. I called in at 8PM asking them if it’s too late to come in or if I should order to go because they close at 9PM. The lady told me it’s fine to come in so I drove to their restaurant which takes no longer than 5 minutes. When I got into the restaurant the same lady from earlier on the phone asked me if I want to eat in or take out and I told her I’m going to eat here. She looks at the clock and it was only 8:10PM and goes sorry it’s too late take out only right now. Which have seriously not been a big deal if she would’ve just told me that over the phone so I could order and just pick it up when I got there. I was already annoyed I didn’t want to spend the next 10 minutes annoyed at her and waiting for the food so I left. Keep in mind that I’ve never had problem with previous employees. The employees that I’ve encountered are super honest and friendly. So I left and I didn’t come back until two months later to give this place a try. When usually I eat here at least once every week. So today I came in and I saw the owner sweeping and making small talks with me which I appreciated. The lady with the short hair(same lady from last time) however did not greet me and simply took my order. After I finished paying she didn’t say thank you or anything even though I greeted her and thanked her. I felt like I had better customer service than her and I was only a customer. So I sat down and she gave me my complementary soup that they always offer, and even after the entrée came out my table didn’t receive any water. We had to personally ask her for water which made her a bit a annoyed. A few more people came in and I saw that she treated them the same way she treated me. No smiles, no «thank you», and no water. After I left she did no say goodbye or thank you. The owner however did greet me from the parking lot full of smiles. Maybe I’ve been having bad luck and only coming in when she’s working, next time I’ll try earlier in the day to avoid the lady with the short hair at night. I will be coming back because of the good food and humble owner. I’ll probably just grab take out to avoid the bad customer service though.

Originally I would give this 5 stars, food is delicious, first time I came I was amazed with tasty food… Today I decided to get beef yakisoba! It was delicious meat was great… But why did I have 4 pieces of small shreds of beef… It just looks like vege yakisoba… Lots and lots of cabbage and noodles… :/I’m disappointed, but will be back for the original meat dishes.

This is my new favorite teriyaki spot! I was so impressed with the service, atmosphere and the food. Great serving sizes too. This is a hidden gem. If you’re in South King Co. /Federal Way area and are looking for awesome teriyaki, don’t miss out.

We got 3 meals & an order of crab Rangoons and it was $ 41. So keep in mind the price is not what you would expect from a teriyaki place. The crab Rangoons(4 pieces for $ 3.99) were SO overcooked and dry. I attempted to eat one and tossed the rest. My mom ordered the almond chicken and teriyaki chicken combo and substituted fried rice for the white rice and it was $ 4! For 2 scoops. The extra sauce was 50 cents per cup — & they were so insanely small. If you substitute anything or ask for extra, confirm the price. They really get everything they can out of you. The service isn’t great, she couldn’t explain the menu or why things are priced the way they are. The meals themselves were good. I liked that the spicy chicken had veggies. But when I opened my spicy chicken sauce was all over the place. My mom liked her almond chicken & the basic teriyaki chicken was great. Salad dressing is sweet, but I prefer that. My dad threw away his prawns though, way overcooked. If I go back, I’ll stick to a basic meal. No appetizers or frills.

I came here because of the two reviews but yuck! This place was over priced. They give you baby to go boxes with adult prices. The chicken teriyaki was lukewarm and made me feel sick afterwards. They are so cheap, they don’t even have to go cups. My boyfriend got Mongolian beef with about a half ounce of beef in it. The place is not worth the price.

Consistently good food — try the teriyaki chicken with breast meat, crab rangoon, pot stickers, etc! Delish! One caveat — If you don’t care for the Christian music station they play, take your order to go.

Location is in kind of a weird spot but that’s OK. Lady was helpful and polite. Food was nothing special and atmosphere was the same as any other teriyaki place. The chicken was good but gyoza was smaller size than what I have had before.

Out of all the teriyaki places I’ve been to in the past, this place is my favorite. I would have to say the #1 reason is their salad dressing! One word«AMAZING!!» Aside from the salad dressing: 1. Short ribs here are cooked to perfection. One of my favorite dishes I love to order every time I come here. 2. The staff keep the establishment pretty clean. I enjoy having a meal here now and then when I get the chance. 3. Service here is wonderful! The staff are very nice and polite. 4. I love the giant photos of the dishes they make here it’s displayed on the windows as you walk by. I’m a picture person so seeing the actual dishes, helps! Rather then reading it off the menu. 5. Parking is great you definitely don’t have to worry about finding a parking space if there is a big crowd. 6. I order to go all the time here and they are usually prompt with your order when you get there. I never had any problems with having to wait. I love this place! I will continually come here on a regular basis even if prices go up.

Delicious SPICY chicken! After moving here I was hesitant to try any new teriyaki joints. I’m glad I found this one on Unilocal and will definitely be back!

Loved the spicy chicken teriyaki! It’s different from the usually spicy chicken because it comes with vegetables and it’s all mixed in together. The only thing that threw me off was the water chestnut. It tasted sour like it had gone bad. My mom’s yakisoba was like that too so we picked them out and threw them out. The service was pretty ridiculous though. The young lady in front wasn’t very kind. A few minutes after she took our order, she took the next customers and told the cook the customer’s name and his food came out first because he was a regular. I thought it was pretty ridiculous. I probably will be back because the spicy chicken is really good but won’t tip the girl.

Favorite teriyaki spot in federal way! Seriously I think this place is hidden and not many people know about it but I love International Teriyaki House for their food, and quality of service. The menu is wide, you can choose from your regular teriyaki menu to chinese cuisine. Clean, fast, and delicious. I don’t think you can ask for more.

7 tables. A couple high chairs and booster seats. Clean. Friendly. Combo dishes $ 8 — $ 10. I could do without the christian music, but getting it to go so no big. Lowering review as they have removed the lock on their one restroom. WTF???
