We are one of the oldest pet sitting services in Federal Way and have over 30 years of experience in the pet care business. Petsitting in YOUR home and dog walking service available by our experienced staff. We care all kinds of pets! Serving Federal Way, WA. and the surrounding areas.

We will be happy to care for your pet with a tailor made care schedule of 1 to 3 visits per day to your home. We will walk, feed, play with, and even administer medications for your pet. Relax and know that your pet is in the hands of an experienced animal handler who also happens to be a lifelong animal lover.

Here are the basic services we provide:

History

Established in 1996.

After years of working in petr ealted fields including the boarding inand hors training industries, Janice Schutz decided to open a pet sitting service to meet the individulaized needs of pets and their owner’s in the Federal Way community.

Business Owner

Janice Schutz has always loved animals. So when she was thinking about starting a business, a pet sitting service seemed like the perfect fit. She began Janice’s Critter Care in Federal Way, WA in 1996.

Janice’s qualifications are unique in the pet sitting industry. Before starting her business, she was a professional horse trainer and managed a kennel with facilities for 200 dogs and 50 cats, as well as a grooming shop, pet transport division, and pet cemetery.

Her pet sitting service was an instant success. Clients appreciate her professionalism and management skills, her knowledge of animals, and her genuine love for their pets. And she continues to learn, and to share her knowledge. She is certified in pet first aid and CPR. She attends educational conferences for pet sitters at every opportunity, and she is

often a presenter at the conferences.

In addition to running Janice’s Critter Care the Schutz’s volunteer with Greyhound Pets, Inc.
