Nails Espresso

Very poor customer service! they speak rudely to people and when you ask a simple question like, how long will the wait be, they say will fit you in when they have time. Not we can help you in … minutes or can you come back at a certain time. The sign says «walk in welcome» but their response is not welcoming. Nor just to me but I saw how they spoke to others also.
my new my nail polish ftom the night before got ruined so I went back to get it fixed and they were just super rude about it. The lady who did it yelled across the room at me and told me she told me that would happen. I take responsibility for it… just need it fixed! Guess I need someone who has good manners and decent communication skills as well as nail skills lol

My favorite nail salon! I have tried so many, and this one is my #1 pick. They both pay attention to detail, conversate and actually remember their customers. Kim talked me into trying shellac and I am sooo happy I did it! I will never go back. No chips, they last so much longer literally 3 – 4 weeks before I need a fill and even at that time they still look so on point. My nail shape and length is always perfect, amazing pedicures, salon is very clean kept. I just love it here and will remain a loyal customer to them! Thank you Kimy & Tony for your hard work!

Probably never going to come in again, I don’t know what the rave is about on the comments but I def didn’t like this place. For one, they felt more interested in watching TV than doing my nails and when I asked him to make one of my nails more straight, he just made it worst. Every chance he got he sat in front watching TV? Omg

Tony is a perfectionist and my nails always stay on vs other nail salons I have been to lately ! After a bad experience down the road I decided to Pop in and give this place a try since it’s so convenient to where I’m always at … (The post. Office) lol

I made an appointment based on Unilocal reviews and never even sat in the chair. Walked in and there was junk everywhere. The guy barely looked up at me when I told him I had an appointment. He dryly said «Have a seat». I walked right out. Waaaaay too many nail salons to deal with a junky salon and indifferent staff.

Well, I am torn. Absolutely torn! I could give one star on some aspects, and five stars on other aspects!
I wasn’t able to get into my regular shop, so I called to see if they could take me here for cut down, refill, and regular pedicure. They were iffy, acted like they were about to close. 3pm on a Saturday.
I arrived just 5 minutes later to an empty shop! 3 workers, no customers. I asked what time they closed, 7pm.
The shop was cluttered, and kinda junky looking.
The guy that did my nails never spoke to me. He was rough with me too! I asked for a cut down and he hardly did. My fault, should have stayed on top of him.
Then came the pedicure, way too quick. Also gruffy tech.
The massage chair was the best I ever had in 20 plus years of pedicures! OMG! It was awesome!
All said and done, my nails are absolutely gorgeous! For a reasonable price too!

I LOVE this place! I don’t got to get my nails done often but when I do I usually get acrylics and I’m very particular about how I get them done. It really really irks me when I go in and the nail technician gets glue all over my fingers, can’t cut all the nails the same length, or physically hurt me every step of the way. I came in here on a whim one day and fell in love. The lady who did my acrylics was AMAZING and gave me the best set of acrylics I’ve ever had. She was meticulous, which I love. I brought my friend in today so I could get my acrylics and she could get a pedicure. I had a gentleman do my acrylics this time and he did just as amazing of a job as the lady who did my last set. Not only are they incredibly talented but they’re also super nice people. I love it here, I’ve found my new go to spot for nail beautification

My go to nail place! I love the owners they are great! My shellac will last 3 weeks without a chip or peel unlike other places I’ve been to. I won’t be changing salons anytime soon. :-)

Not impressed went in for a broke nail eyebrows polish change gel went in they stated 10 mins ok I can wait the assistant was nice and proceed to take off the polish and buff my nails he informed me that the lady was going to repair the damage nail and he left. Then the lady went ahead re buffed my nail basically over filed my nails my nail where not consistent with each other. Not very detailed and They put too much gel polish made it super thick an I got over charge and they did not tell me my fee was or anything very disappointed I doubt I will go to them and I’m a local resident in federal way Note to owners if ur getting too many ppl get more help when busy.

This place is wonderful. They do excellent work and are very friendly. I would highly recommend them. The art work is amazing. I never have to wait long and you can walk in or make an appointment. The place is clean and the will pamper you.

Note to self: Do not come back here. Shabby place with lots of junk hanging everywhere to «sell». Different people keep coming to work on my nails. Shit face man owner… I felt so out of place and unsafe. I only see one license on the wall and several working on people’s nails. Not a good sign for me but tye regulars seemed very at ease to all these nonsense.
On the cleaning aspect: I cannot tell if the tools they used is clean or not. They have a slot on the station to catch the nails. It looked so gross and the red towels they used are pretty beat up looking as well.
Unless you have a special connection with this place or people here, otherwise do not come here. Chop house style or you can call it «down to earth».

Had a great first time experience. Great customer service. But pricing shocked me when it was time to pay. Expecting my pedicure to be at least $ 25 when I looked at the menu then was charged about $ 43 because of the gel nail polish. I wish they would’ve said something from the beginning that the gel nail polish was going to be more. Other than that the lady who did my pedicure was very nice and made me very relaxed.

Tony the owner and his girlfriend Kim are wonderful people.
They are very friendly and laid back.
I have been getting my nails done for 20 years, I just moved here and took off my nails for 6 months because I could not find a good nail tech. I asked some one where they got their nails done, they sent me to Nails Espresso. I absolutely love the work they do. I am very picky and they are very accommodating.
They do a great job. Enjoy a hot latte, smoothie or a Red Bull Italian soda while you get your nails and feet pampered.

First time here, really impressed. Will defiantly be back. It was clean, very nice staff and well priced.

Love this place! I have been getting acrylics for about 10 years now and in that time I have been to almost every place from Tacoma to burian and every where in btwn and this is by far the best place I have been. I always have issues with my nails breaking, I like them long and I do hair. I have not had any nails even chip since I started coming here. And the people are so friendly! Definitely the only place I would recommend!

Yay! Found my new go-​to nail salon! :) After reading the reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I read that this place had friendly employees, served coffee, and that they filled up very fast. So I called at 9:30 on a Tuesday (the time they open) to make an appointment. As soon as I got there, there was only ONE person getting their nails done, so I guess they’re not as busy on weekdays. I was greeted by Tony and Lee, the two nail technicians. I’m really picky about where I get my nails done because the first thing I look for is a CLEAN environment and that’s exactly what this place was. Lee did my nails and she did a fantastic job! They were both very friendly and while I was getting my nails shaped, Tony offered me some coffee. I ordered a 16 oz vanilla latte and I have to be honest, it’s better than Starbucks lol. Overall, this place EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS! I paid $ 30 for a shellac manicure, a little pricier than some places but if you want to be completely satisfied with your nails, then it’s worth spending a few more dollars! :) Nails Espresso will see me very soon!

Love it! It was my first time here today and they did a lovely job on my gel nails. I will be back!

I’m still on the hunt for a new regular nail salon post-​move. I’ve been to Nails Espresso a couple times now, and I’ve been pretty happy. Tony does good designs and does them in gel polish so they last a pretty long time. They can be very busy, so call ahead. Can’t really get in last minute here.

Great service and a fabulous vanilla latte (comparable to Starbucks quality) to pair with the experience. This new nail shop is amazing! Tony and his wife are so personable, I will for sure make this my go to nail salon! They also are very tech forward makes payment simple. They also offer tea and wine which would be great for lay groups. Previous clients came in for a service and they were absolutely delighted to see both Tony and his wife. I would say this would be a good example of how personable and what great service this salon provides for its customers. Please go give this new salon a try it’s definitely worth your while.
