Started coming here in 2003. I don’t really go that much anymore because their prices have increased and quality has gone down a bit. The food is good and fresh depending on what time of day you go. I will post pictures of different plates. Don’t really like their burritos there isn’t enough in them for me just meat means and rice I think and some cheese. The tacos are really good and I like the enchiladas as well.

I have been to the location in Tacoma a few times. I enjoyed the restaurant. This is my second time at this location. I am disappointed about the food taste and service. I ordered 3 arroz con pollo to go and received 3 asado chicken. How did she screw that up? She did get the Burrito plate correct. The Asado Chicken was horrible, bland and the skin was not crisp but wet. NASTY! The trash can had a nice meal tonite. Too bad i dont compost.

I didn’t realize they put cheese on their beans. I am allergic to milk which means I’m allergic to cheese. I said oh no I can’t have that I’m allergic to cheese. They took my plate back wipe the beans I left some cheese on my plate with some cheese stuck to my tortillas. I guess actually they just added more beans and just peel the cheese off. When someone says they are allergic that means they cannot have it it is a life threatening problem. I will not be going back there. I was unable to eat. I did not complain because I was so angry I may have thrown that plate of beans in their face.

Just what the tummy ordered! Perfect flavor, texture, temperature, timeliness, super tasty and wow! I ordered shredded beef chimi enchiladas combo and was yumming my way through each bite. I initially thought I would eat half and save the rest for lunch tomorrow but that so didn’t happen. :) deliciousness through and through.

We’ve been going to the West Hill location of Riconsito for more than 5 years and I’ve seen their customer service steadily decline. We went last light through the drive-thru and received the worst customer service. The server was absolutely nasty. We ordered two steak burritos with guacamole and sour cream. Not only were the burritos significantly smaller but neither condiment which added 3 dollars to the cost of each burrito were included. It’s bad enough to be treated poorly but even worse to pay for small, sub-par burritos without guacamole or sour cream. Never going back.

Worst customer service ever mainly because of LILIANA. The food is just decent but not enough for me to come back to waste my time and money. You do not roll your eyes at a customer while they order. The girl with the short hair her name was LILIANA took the order wrong and refuse to fix it when I asked her to simply just take out the beans. She said it’s already made and it’s too late. Which is ridiculous because it wasn’t a burrito or anything it was just chicken and rice with beans on the side. All I needed was for them not to put in the beans because I didn’t want it. I don’t understand how it could’ve possibly already been made when I just placed the order 2 minutes ago, and haven’t even received it. Please improve customer service. Fix your heater in the winter. Add air conditioning in the summer. Have a working soda machine and please do not give your customers unnecessary attitude. I’m just here for some tacos, chicken, burrito, and some rice. I don’t expect 5 star quality food and customer service.

The food was good but I think their prices are a little high. I ordered a Carne Asada Burrito with a large drink and it cane out to $ 9.84. No additional food included with burritos other than an onion slice and hot pepper. The food tasted good however I did not like the tortilla they used for the burrito. The restaurant was clean and offered plenty of seating.

First impression bad attitude from the person taking the order, she acted as she was doing us a favor by doing her job, not a greeting, not a smile not one courtesy; we got our food and a single set of silverware, when I requested the missing set, the person pointed at the one on the table and said«there’s one«, was she really expecting us to share our fork and take turns to get a bite?; once I got my silverware and started eating, the rice and beans are almost as cold as if they were sitting on the plate for over twenty minutes, but everything else was ok.

Although this place has very good food, the service is HORRIBLE! The people working there are extremely rude and always manage to mess up on the food orders. I went through the drive thru and over the speaker the girls were complaining about how much they hate working there and we’re planning to quit(REALLYUNPROFESSIONAL) they didn’t acknowledge I was there for a good 2 minutes. Tried on 3 separate occasions and everytime was bad service. Won’t be coming here anymore!

These guys have the BEST food!!! YUM! Love their Steak Tacos and their Chicken Enchilada’s! We like to call in and place the order to go, then pick it up in the drive through! So simple and easy and their prices are very reasonable!

Food is very good for the price. Watch your take-away orders! Over the past 2 years of eating there they have not added all the food that was ordered many many times. I have even contacted the owner twice about food not making it to the bag, We have found and witnessed that f you do not speak Spanish they will not give you the pickled veggies. Numerous times of ordering food to go via phone then still waiting 45 mins later the food is still not done. We have tried just about everything on the menu. The only thing we do not like so far is the fish.

Good tasting food! Drive thru takes longer than most. Almost always have to turn the engine off just to wait for my food. They’ve always had reasonable prices, but raised their prices up and it’s higher than ever!!! I used to buy 5 Carne Asada tacos for just a little over $ 5(making each about a dollar), but now they’re over $ 10?! RIDICULOUS. Really blowed my mind. Definitely could work on having better service.

This is my favorite Mexican restaurant and I’ve always eaten inside, until today. I went through the drive thru and I ordered 6 beef tacos, 2 beef gorditas and a churro. When I got home I only got 5 tacos and 2 gorditas. No 6th taco and no churro… I should just stick to eating inside so I get everything I ordered! Disappointed.

Taqueria El Rinconsito is like wannabe authentic Mexican food — different from completely fake Mexican food like Taco Bell. The food pictures and the 100% Spanish-speaking staff will almost have you convinced that it IS the real deal. Sike!!! Salsa selection is fairly fresh, but not the best. They have good rice and beans AND their selection of agua fresca is impressive, but I can’t figure if it’s fresh or reconstituted. We’ve been here a couple times for their lengua. It’s really good, honestly, but they skimp on the portion majorly. Steer clear of the tasteless, mushy texture thingamajig they call fish for their tacos. Super duper yuck! Blech! Surprisingly, the dining area gets heavy traffic. There’s a drive-thru as well. I can’t vouch for drive-thru service, but dine-in food comes out pretty quickly which is surely the reason why people come here. If you don’t mind a wannabe authentic Mexican dining experience that provides quick service and mediocre quality food OR you’re just plain olé hungry, then this is the place for you. Otherwise, find yourself a good taco truck instead.

So I went to el rin with a girlfriend a week or so ago. I used to love this place but they REALLY fell off. After we ordered our food we sat down. I went to the bathroom to wash my hands and a gal who worked there came in and used the restroom and didn’t wash her hands when she was finished. I told my friend and we were a bit grossed out but she obviously didn’t put our food together so we continued. They brought out our food… Forgot my avocados on my torta but it was still yummy. I was a little shocked when I had ordered and paid extra for guacamole and she came out with two things of sour cream, one of which had a spoonful of guac in it LOL. She said to me «sorry we ran out of guacamole but we just gave u extra sour cream and charged you for that, is that ok?» I was like ummm sorry no it’s not I ordered guacamole I don’t need 2 sour creams. She went and spoke to the manager then brought me 1.25 $ back. They finally brought out our tortilla chips and we were eating them then came upon these disgusting hard pieces of brown stuff that resembled rat turds in the lower part of our dish. At this point we spit out what we had and left. I don’t know if they were mad that I didn’t want the sour cream or what but that was so disgusting. I will NEVER go back to this location this is just unacceptable and the health department should look into the way they are running things.

Been here once, but I really enjoyed it! I had the Pollo Asado special deal($ 5.99, typically right under $ 10) where I had 2 large legs w/wings attached to them that came with rice, beans, and tortillas. The dish is on my top 5 favorite Mexican dishes– it was so good! If you dine in, there’s complimentary salsas, veggies(pickled carrots and radishes), and limes you can add to your meal. The only down side is that the dine-in areas are not super clean as some people would prefer when they dine in. However, I believe that cuisines aside from typical American fare can sometimes taste better when the location/dining areas are«off-the-wall» and not so focused on ambience and top-notch service. Just get your meal to-go if this is a concern!

I used to love all Taqueria El Riconsitos until my last visit to this one. Now I’m not so sure. We ordered two 5 $ burritos with sour cream and guacamole. The total came to twenty dollars. We asked why we were being charged double, and we were told sour cream and guacamole were two dollars extra, a piece. Our condiments were almost more than the burrito! We told the lady working we did not want sour cream and guacamole and she changed our order. However as she changed the order, an angry uproar came from the kitchen. Our changed order took about 15 minutes to complete, and when it came out we got our original cold burritos but with sour cream and guacamole. The food was delicious. But I would recommend you go to any other Mexican fast food or taco truck near by on Pacific for better service.

Tried take out today: fish tacos, beef tacos, a chicken burrito and a guarachi(because they looked so good in the picture.) It was hard to drive home without digging in. The food smelled so good in the car. Once home, I had the fish tacos. The corn tortillas were delicious. Light with a delicate corn flavor. I loved that the fish wasn’t breaded. Breading destroys a good fish taco. I yearned for more sauce. It was lovely – a sweet, white drizzle of goodness. Everyone else enjoyed their meals which in total came to $ 25. We voted – and decided it was worth 3.5 stars. A good take out lunch on the run.
