Description

Specialties

I help people who wish to protect their assets and options when long-term care (LTC) need arises. LTC is needing hands-on or standby assist with bathing and dressing, or due to cognitive impairment. This can be a temporary or permanent situation and requires paid or volunteer help, usually in your home. The risk is 70% after age 65, and the cost of this care could be a family member’s health, job or marriage. Paid help can be from $ 15 to $ 30 an hour. Having insurance available to pay for services allows for more choices and quality of care.

History

Established in 1995.

I worked in the OT Dept of the Milwaukee County Infirmary in the 70’s where 70 residents shared one room. I also worked in private nursing homes and residential care homes for the elderly. My goal for my insured clients is that they will stay in the home they love or in their private room in assisted living, with adequate funds to avoid losses to their estate. As one client said, «I want to be independent to the end!»

Business Owner

I have insured folks since 1995 for long-term care and have seen hundreds of my clients make claims. Virtually all have stayed home or eventually moved to assisted living when 247 care was needed. As one client said, «Your program made my wife’s last days infinitely more comfortable, and for that I am eternally grateful.»

I am delighted to be able to help folks maintain their dignity and independence.
