There was nothing remarkable about our experience at the Fenton O’Charley’s. Not the food, not the service, not the price. I understand it’s a «chain» restaurant and it’s in the lower price range, but for me, it’s still only a two star experience. I was looking forward to dessert as they advertise their pies heavily. I had a slice of the peach and it was nothing like home made in my opinion. The peaches were obviously not fresh, the crust was mass produced and there was nothing unique or that stood out about the filling in general. Additionally, we had Chicken Pot Pie, Tomato Basil Cream Soup(very good compared to the rest of the items we tried), Chicken Tenders and Chips. Again, nothing stood out other than the soup. Our service was mediocre at best. Our server was Tiffany and while she was quick to ask for our order, it took too long to receive our drinks, refills and for her to pick up our check once we were ready to pay. Also, I had eaten approximately ¼th of my pot pie when she asked if I was ready for my dessert. Really? She couldn’t have been more obvious about wanting to turn the table than if she’d said«can you hurry it up? I need this table.» If you want mediocre food, barely average service, there are other, less expensive options — like Cracker Barrel for example. We, however, were reminded why we don’t go to O’Charly’s.

The staff is always friendly. Food is good for a chain restaurant. But cleanliness is not a top priority for this location. The seats hadn’t been cleaned before we were seated, along with the table. The sugar container, salt and pepper shakers look as though they’ve never been cleaned. I hate to think how the kitchen may look. This restaurant may get one more chance, but most likely not.

Classic American chain. Long waits on the weekends. Typical chain food. The rolls are good. Never my first choice, but usually fairly good.

I just really can’t help but give this place five stars… It’s a great atmosphere with a friendly staff and delicious food. There’s really not much more you could ask from a business like this. Not to mention they have a special every Wednesday for a free slice of pie with your entrée. The food tastes wonderful, and their portions are rather large for the price! They have great selections as well. I thoroughly recommend getting the Californian chicken salad. I get it every single time, and am never disappointed.

Good service but why bring rolls. There isn’t any bread in the middle. The worst free rolls on the planet.

Usually consistent. I like the chicken tenders. Kind of grossed out by what seems to be grime on the tables though we had the table wiped off and it was still there.

Steak was over cooked, tasted old and service was bad. If you crave subpar dining great place to try!

I visited an O’Charley’s a few years back in IL and I was not impressed. My wife and I tried the Sunday brunch(not a buffet) and loved everything about it. I got the eggs benedict and Jan got Prime Rib of all things(10:15AM). Food /Service /Environment were excellent. Will be returning soon.

Went and ate here Wednesday with my family. They were busy with it being free pie day but the service was pretty terrible. I have some pet peeves when it comes to eating out and I got to experience almost all of them in one visit here. The tables are so close together that you have maybe 3 inches between you and the table behind you while you’re sitting. That’s annoying. Then on top of that we were brought rolls but we didn’t have any silverware or plates. Had to flag down the server for that. We ordered mixed drinks and they were pretty awful and brought out one at a time. Then our food was brought out half at a time. Everyone had food except two of us(there were only 5) and we got to wait until ours was brought out. It took 3 servers to being us food for 5. Then as I said the server was unattentive. We watched her play on her cell phone multiple times in plain view of our table. As we were leaving the manager was stating by the front door talking to a server and no one bothered to tell us thank you have have a nice day or how was everything. Won’t go back to this location.

My mother and I stopped by for New Years eve din din. The food was good, the service was semi-great to excellent(cheers to my waitress Jessica). The initial experience could have been a bit better, which will be explained further in this review. I called this restaurant beforehand if they were accepting reservations to avoid a wait. It was pretty cold outside and I was advised a 25 minute wait and they were not accepting reservations. Why on earth not when its New Years? That doesn’t make any sense. However, the wait was much shorter than most restaurants during New Years and we decided to make the trek to Fenton anyways. We were again advised a 20 minute wait from the person at the front desk and we were given the traditional red beeping«hockey puck» that vibrated when the next table was available. Unfortunately, they did not have seating further away from the doors, which were constantly opening and closing from the people leaving. They really could have brought over someone from the front desk greeting people and to keep the doors closed. I was with my mother for New Years, who had a hard time standing for a long period of time. The seating arrangements for people who had to wait could have been done a bit better. I ordered the prime rib steak and my mother ordered the cobb salad. Her salad was enormous. As always, this restaurant has the best rolls on the planet with the best honey butter. I ordered my steak medium rare, most of the steak came as I ordered but the rest was not that juicy and was pretty dry. The baked potato did not come«fully loaded» as I asked, but only came with sour cream and butter and some small speck of, what I thought, was cheddar cheese. A bit disappointing. I also ordered a side salad, which was easily forgotten and the man who brought us our food had to be reminded of what salad dressing I ordered. The watermelon punch was the highlight of my meal and Jessica kept up with drink refills. However, the most annoying experience of the night was those darn blasted doors. You could definitely feel the cold drafts coming in as the doors were opening and slowly closing. This may be a place I might come to, but definitely not when it was certainly busy as it was that night.

It was a Friday, our wait didn’t take long. The place was so noisy. Everyone’s salad was delivered on really hot plates, not good. While the food wasn’t bad, the service was awful. Our server didn’t come back to refill drinks unless we flagged her down. Never asked how our dinner was & never brought a condiment that was asked for 3 times. We don’t usually eat at chains, looks like we aren’t missing much at this one.

My family usually do birthdays at that place — not anymore. Oh my goodness, they have overpriced and downsized their food. since then! Soda was completely flat. Waiter was nice though. Never again!

Was there today with a friend after shopping — first time for us both. Very clean restaurant, very friendly and helpful employees/wait staff; food was EXCELLENT and prices were as well. I was very impressed with them over all and guarantee we will return again and again.

I’ve been to O’Charley’s before, first time at this location, food is always good as always, I love getting the Top shelf combo Appetizer and sharing it. so good. Pretty busy still got seated right away which is nice. our waiter was a bit slow with us and not friendly or anything really but that’s the only thing. me and the family always enjoy O’Charley’s. Wednesdays is free slice of pie day! The ooey gooey caramel pie is so good its sinful!

We came here after leaving a restaurant nearby without even having our order taken 20 minutes after being seated. O’Charley’s was busy as usual, but we were seated immediately, and not only had our order been taken, but we had our food within 15 minutes. The food was very good and the service was excellent!

My family of 4 came in on a Friday evening. Seated immediately. Restaurant was clean and full. Waiter was super friendly and efficient. I had the black and blue salad which was superb. My wife had the Tuscan chicken dish and she said it was excellent. Both kids liked and finished their meals. Steaks on others tables looked and smelled delicious. Price I would said is slightly high for what you get portion wise but within the same range as most casual sit down establishments. The rolls of course are always a plus and were endlessly devoured by our family. Refills were very fast and plates cleared instantly from the table when we finished with them. Overall a great dinner experience for a family like ours that eats out 3 – 4 times a week for dinner.

I’ve always thought this place was just okay, and once again, that’s what it was. O’Charley’s serves average food at average prices, plain and simple. Our waitress was very friendly and provided good service though, so that was a plus. I came for dinner recently with my mom. Nothing on the menu really stood out to me, but I think the fact that I was feeling a bit under the weather was partially to blame for this. I decided on the Grilled Chicken Spinach Salad. It was topped with chicken strips, blue cheese crumbles, apples, dried cranberries, candied walnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette dressing. It was a decent size for an entrée salad. I couldn’t pass up their sweet rolls and had two on the side. My mom chose the chicken pot pie, which was one of the items listed on their $ 9.99 value menu. It was a large pie and it looked pretty hearty. It also came with a side and she went with a small salad. I wasn’t aware that every Wednesday O’Charley’s has a «Free Pie Day» special and it really seems to draw a crowd. You can select one free piece of pie with the purchase of any entrée… Not a bad deal! Since I wasn’t feeling that well, and knowing that swimsuit season is right around the corner, I had my piece boxed up and sent home for my step-dad. I won’t be rushing back here anytime soon. I enjoyed the company more than the food. However, it is a good value for what you get… especially on Wednesdays when you throw in the pie.
