Fenwick Islander Motel

My family and I stayed there for a week last summer and it was excellent. The location was awesome, one block from the beach. Restaurants within walking distance and about 10 – 15 minutes away from the ocean city Boardwalk.
My family and friends have decided to make this an annual get away and the preferred hotel of choice.
The room service was good and the pool and overall facility was very clean. Last but not lease the pricing was reasonably affordable.
I would recommend this motel to anyone interested in spending some time in the area.

This was the second time I stayed here. There were only a few other guests, since it was the end of September. The folks at the front desk are friendly and nice. The room was clean and with plenty of towels. The ice machine was in good working order. The pool was swimable and even that it was not the best weather, I took a swim. The location is great. There are plenty of drinking and eating establishment within walking distance.

Been only staying at this motel for the past three years.
Great price, hotel clerks are the sweetest ladies ever, sad to see one retire but I believe she deserves it.
One small complaint though on these past two trips this summer, bed/​sheets were «sandy». And got bit a few times overnight.

Fantastic staff. Rooms are clean beds are soft l, brand new fridge, ice cold AC. Beautiful balcony, nice clean pool, organized parking. Highly recommend it to anyone. Will definlty stay again.

My son and I spent a couple of nights here while were in town for a nearby soccer tournament.
Considering the jacked up prices of Ocean City hotels, this one is a bargain.
Check in was pleasant, our room was on the second floor with a nice balcony overlooking the water.
We didn’t use the pool (outside), but it looked clean and well maintained.
The room has a large, old TV, but it works fine.
Huge fridge and nice kitchenette.
I will absolutely stay here again.

My girlfriend and I stayed here this past weekend. We were in town for the Jennifer Nettles concert Saturday night, and we were looking for an inexpensive place. The room was very average, but clean. The bed was fine. The bathroom was clean and the shower was a nice size and had good water pressure. The TV was tiny and ancient. I am not really complaining about it, as we never turned it on, but it was somewhat odd to see such an old model. It really stood out. The room included a refrigerator and microwave which was nice. The pool was small, but clean. There was never really a crowd at the pool, which made it enjoyable to sit out there and relax. The beach is only one block away. Also, it is about a 4 block walk to Ocean City where you can catch the bus. As long as you are not expecting the Ritz, this hotel is an excellent choice. I was told by the front desk that if you book your reservations in advance, you can get a much better rate. We will return.

My boyfriend and I stayed here in August, 2014 since it seemed to be the only place that was reasonably priced. I guess in this area the rates were good as compared to other hotel/​motels. The beds were horrible… I felt every spring. The bathroom didn’t appear very clean and neither were the drawers to put clothing. The pool looked very dingy. It wasn’t something I was interested in getting in. I can’t say I would never stay here again, but it wasn’t up to par for me.

After looking at many hotels in Ocean City and the surrounding area, my boyfriend and I made a last minute decision and went with this motel and we were pleasantly surprised. The staff at the front desk were very nice and welcoming. We were able to check in early and were even allowed to leave the car in the parking lot after we checked out so we could get one more beach day in. You do have to cross a pretty busy road to get to the beach, but the light with the crosswalk makes it safe to walk the short distance. The room was perfect for an overnight stay. The balcony on the second floor room was also a nice addition. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet and relaxing stay. Perfect for a last minute summer getaway.

We stayed at this motel for one night. The bathroom was not clean. However, the staff cleaned promptly when requested. There were many recent school graduates celebrating. Congradulation happy, noisy grads. The internet was available in the spare lobby but not in the room. The Wi-​Fi was free but the ice machine costs a quarter for a small allotment. A refrigarator and microwave were supplied to the room. Coffee, however, was in the lobby. One must cross route 1A to get to one short block to the beach. The price was excessive for the value. However at the end os the day there were no vacancies.
