Very good beer, try the pecan ale. It’s a nice local joint that has surprisingly good food for a brewery. Top tip, get anything they make that is bbq, with house chips, delicious!

Excellent food in historical downtown Ferguson! Variety of foods from rich meats to vegetarian. Great appetizers — we had the hummus. The beer cheese soup is the best I have ever had. A full bowl would be a meal. The flatbread — I chose buffalo chicken — was excellent. The portions are generous. The service was outstanding — refilling and checking without being obtrusive. The décor is appropriately welcoming. They also brew their own beer, but I didn’t have the chance to try it at lunch. Will be back.

This restaurant in downtown Ferguson is great! The atmosphere, the food, and the special brews. The service is always the best too! My go to food is between 2-​first is the salciccia meatloaf, which is second to none, or the bangers and mash which reminds me of the sausage and sauerkraut that my grandmother makes. Other dishes that I have tasted or eaten include the soft pretzel appetizers, the pulled pork, the Reuben sandwich, and the hamburger sliders. I don’t drink the beers (not a beer person), but others rave about them. If you are near the area, you have to visit!

One star for dishonesty and I have zero tolerance when it comes to dishonesty. I received a fraud alert from my credit card company informing me that someone added another $ 2 to the already 20%+ tip I left! I called and left a message at the number listed for the restaurant but no one returned my call. Who does that!!! Food is nothing special.

The establishment has a great atmosphere along with an assortment of beers. Although I was not able to have the beers due to being the DD, the Pepsi was great and refreshing. The food was outstanding. They come in big portions and the service was top notch. I had the brisket between the buns and it did not disappoint. The meat was so tender and the sauce was a perfect blend of tangy and spicy. I recommend checking this place out even if it’s just for the Pepsi.

An excellent local business to support. Kind and friendly wait staff and an excellent variety of food. A neighborhood restaurant not to be missed!

Came here while in town for work. Place makes their own beer which is fine… nothing special. I ordered the Jerk Flat Bread. Again, it was fine but nothing amazing.

Vanilla bourbon porter very unique find. Won’t fill you up like normal «full course meal» style porters but at 10% abv a second would likely put you in a pretty comfortable place. Great service and environment similar to Colorado style vibe.

Have always heard good things about this place so I suggested it today when a coworker and I were looking for a place to get some carry out for lunch today. My first impression was that it must be good because it was crowded during a weekday lunch. I was not disappointed!
When I walked in to pick up my order I was warmly greeted right away and every employee I passed greeted me as well. My food was ready to pick up by the time I got there and I was served promptly.
The food was wonderful! I had the shrimp po boy sandwich with the house made chips and the portion was generous and the food seemed really fresh. My coworker had the spinach dip and said it was excellent. It was worth more than we paid. I look forward to trying other menu items when we decide to order out again.
TLDR: great food, fair prices, excellent customer service.

One of my favorite springtime and early summer dinner outings! Because of their outside dining area, I get to be out in the new warm breeze and eat like a queen. Not that it has to only be warm outside to go! The interior is fantastic! Comfortable seating. Great food good beer? All of the appetizers are delicious, their burgers are on pointe; great quality food .
They donate to charities all the time and host beer for the city of ferguson events. They are tied in with a system to buy locally and have a wall dedicated to it in the restaurant.
The restaurant is industrial with quirky accents. Great lighting, ambient but not closed in. Just a great way place for a good dinner.

Man, I absolutely loved this place. The beer was amazing… the food was great… the customer service was outstanding… enough said! If you love microbreweries, you will love this place. They had an awesome selection and their sampler flights were a great deal. We sampled all the beers and I thought they were all great… especially their red ales. My wife thought most of the beers were too hoppy and would have preferred a lighter beer. For me, that meant I got to finish her beers and ordered her a cocktail… we both won! Can’t wait to go back!

Bottom Line:
Nostalgic neighborhood setting, excellent range of «bar food» selections served with genuinely helpful service.
Overview:
For folks that enjoy older architecture, great food and micro-​brewed beer, Ferguson Brewing is a destination, to be sure. After living in Saint Louis my entire life, I don’t know that I had much of a reason to visit the area due to not knowing anyone in the area or anything about the area. When Ferguson Brewing was announced, I had a reason.
Ferguson Brewing is housed in a trademark Saint Louis red brick building that has been well-​preserved with a fairly spacious patio situated within the confines of the parking lot. An event space that can seat up to 125 people on the top floor is also available.
As a side note, the business did have a fire which started in the kitchen. The business had been open only a month since repairs were made.
For context for this review, our visit was on a Saturday around 11am.
Atmosphere:
The temperatures on my first visit were too low to be dining outside, so we had lunch in a booth near the brew kettles at the rear of the building. Being a fan of older architecture, I admit I was in heaven the entire time.
Service:
Service was top notch. Compliments go to both Kim S and Anita. They both were helpful and made our visit enjoyable. I felt like they were focused on us, genuine, and had answers to questions we asked. If they didn’t have the answer, they made sure we got one.
Food:
Here are the selections we chose:
Smoked Chicken Wings — Buffalo and Honey Teriyaki:
These wings’ meat fell off the bone. Smoked and not fried. Flavors were just right and not swimming in sauce. Blue cheese and ranch dips were offered. I cannot vouch for the ranch, but the blue cheese dip was excellent. Personally, I preferred the Buffalo, but Honey Teriyaki was nice, as well.
Beer Cheese Soup:
I am a big fan of this soup and was elated to find that they offered it. Wow! Something I have not encountered in beer cheese soup is chopped carrot and celery. It was a nice surprise. There were two pieces of toasted crostini floating in the soup with cheese melted on it. For the health conscious, I might suggest asking to leave the shredded cheese off. It is already unhealthy enough, I suspect.
Along with chopped green onion, I experimented and grabbed some of my eating partner’s in-​house made potato chips off their plate. It served as a nice dipping sauce for the potato chips, and I also liked the extra crunch in the soup.
Brisket Tacos:
The menu description indicates BBQ brisket. The brisket served on our tacos was without sauce. Regardless, once we requested some sauce on the side, it made the tacos that much more enjoyable. I will say that we probably would not get these tacos again. The soft flour tortilla really did not work for us.
Parking/​Surrounding Area:
Since we were here around the time they opened, we had no problem getting a parking spot. Parking is situated on their own lot. My memory is a bit cloudy on the size of the parking lot, but I believe that parking could be a problem as business picks up.
As far as the surrounding area, I really encourage you to consider walking around to some of the nearby shops. There is a bicycle shop and what appears to be a tourist shop nearby. With Ferguson getting national attention, I imagine they get an influx of out of town guests.
Summary:
Both Ferguson and Ferguson Brewing are worthy of a visit, if you enjoy historic architecture, for sure. If you are just a fan of microbrews and good food, then you would still be well served to visit Ferguson Brewing. They are strong in both departments. The helpful staff really was icing on the cake for our visit.
Bonus Tip:
For root beer aficionados, they make their own called «Slick’s», I believe. It is something that will be on the list next time I visit!

This place inside looks like a backdrop for a Samuel Adams commercial. The smell of wood and the aroma of fragrant beer permeated the air. Ironically the ‘Mr ’ and I didn’t go in for the beer. Instead we went in to eat somewhere late and for cheap. The hubster had a California turkey burger with avocado, cucumber and bleu cheese whilst I ‘partook’ in the smoked wings and the Po’ Boy sandwich. (Nothing po about it. Very good!) The onion rings were perfectly battered and had a sweet taste to it. The waitress was accommodating, attentive and very friendly. A nice and friendly down home atmosphere. The list of wines written on a chalkboard right by the bar. There were booths and tables inside and outside. One of Ferguson’s best oasis.

My husband and I love this place! From the wings, to the beer and the service, you just can’t go wrong by stopping in for whatever you fancy!

Amazing pub food! Unfortunately I haven’t tried their beers but I will next time around.
I got their beer cheese soup and wow! Amazing cheesy flavor! If you love cheese (which I do) you’ll like this. The beer added a unique base for the soup and I loved the unique flavors it provided.
I came back a second time for their burgers and they are definitely good! Burgers are nice and juicy and a good size. And their fries are amazing, even on the second day re-​heated.
It’s a definite favorite in the STL area that I go back to when I’m in the area.

After two visits, I have been sufficiently impressed. A respectable prewpub with tastey and reliable fare.
For brews: the rotational Habenero IPA, plus the Unfiltered German Pilsner and Oatmeal Stout met all expectations.
The sampler appetizer platter may satisfy you enough to forgo dinner. The sriratcha fish tacos and the shrimp dinner were staples-​in-​the making.

While in town visiting with family and friends, we decided to go out for eats and such. The ambiance is pretty cool inside and not your typical restaurant. And although Ferguson Brewing Co doesn’t offer much in the way of gluten free fare, I managed to enjoy myself. It was mostly about spending time with my peeps anyway. I had the spinach artichoke dip and ordered the pub chips to dip in it since I cannot eat the crostinis that come with the dip. Both were really delicious.
Having said that I couldn’t help but be a tad jealous of everyone else munching on the toasted ravioli that I typically ordered during my pre-​gluten-​intolerance days. [If there is a place in STL with a GF version of T-​Ravs, somebody HOLLA!] All in all everyone had an enjoyable evening. My cuzzo and I had our pics snapped in front with the jinormous gorilla wearing the I HEART FERG t-​shirt. Epic.

This is quite a nice little establishment. I have been three times now, and each time is just as good as the last.
The food portions are very reasonable, and did a good job of filling up my insatiable appetite. Most recently I had both the buffalo and bbq chicken pizza. I was quite hungry and ended up eating both. They were very nicely cooked and I felt both were well represented.
The staff was friendly and fast. The beer selection was interesting, and I really liked the hefeweizen. I’m not usually a beer guy, but this one was decent.
This is my favorite location in Ferguson, and I am sure it will continue to be for the foreseeable future. Definitely worth a try.

Came here on a Sunday in the early afternoon, kind of late-​ish for lunch, and it was hard to find parking because the place was busy. The host/​hostess was also nowhere to be seen for 15 minutes, so we couldn’t even put our names in to wait for a table. That was incredibly frustrating, but that was honestly the main negative of my visit.
Our server (Austin?) was pretty awesome and funny. He apologized for any long waittimes (e.g. for food because the restaurant was busy and the kitchen was backed up).
The heifeweizen was tasty and had a very fruity note to it.
The Cuban sandwich came on a really soft, fluffy bread that was just so pleasant to bite into. Wasn’t expecting that because I’m used to Cuban sandwiches being pressed? but the different bread seemed to work. I thought there could have been more ham, but the pulled pork was flavorful enough to make up for it. The housemade chips were pretty good too – they were just thick enough and had a nice crunch to them.
I’d be happy to return here some day! It’s a bit of a drive, but I can see myself making it again.
