DeNucci’s Soft Serve

Delicious soft serve, ice cream or custard as well as food! I love supporting local business & this is definitely the place to do it! Nice people, pretty good selection of items & fast service. The only reason I give 4 out of 5 stars is because there is a distinct smell in the building and that smell seeps into the toppings & cones. Which makes the toppings (like Nutter Butters) & cones taste kinda weird.

I love DeNuccis. Best ice cream in Fernandina in my opinion. They’ve got a little of everything. Soft serve, homemade ice cream, milkshakes, and even food. The owner is so nice, the staff is awesome, and I love that they give us a doggie ice cream treat when we go. So cute! I recommend a chocolate base twister with almonds, mini marshmallows, and chocolate chips. Like a soft serve rocky road!

The Vanilla froyo is the BOMB. I also had strawberry — it would’ve been good if it had been fresh. It had ice crystals from being like the last scoop, so pay attention to when they scrape the bottom. It’s not as good. But the soft serve — man, oh, man. SOOOOO good.

Brought my brothers family here tonight. We had 7 kids with us ready to order food and dessert. My wife and I brought our food from the Spanish place up the road to eat. The owner told us we couldn’t eat the Spanish food even though we wanted to buy over 50 dollars in dinner and dessert for 7 kids. We left and will not return. I can understand if we were not buying food or it was really busy and we were just tying up table space but we were in line ready to order for 7 kids. We were the only family there. Your customer service tonight cost you more than 40 dollars. I just moved here and will never bring family or friends here that come to visit in years to come. As for reviewing the food I’ll never know because we were asked to leave.

Not sure about the burgers and sandwiches, but the ice cream is out of this world. It is worth visiting Fernandina just to get some ice cream here.

We found Denucci’s when I searched for ice cream places on Unilocal.The soft serve custard was simple and delicious — my son said he gives it 5 and a half stars! There’s a cute playground there for kids. We’ll be back!

Something for every ice cream, frozen yogurt, and fruit ice lover. Plus some pro biotic fruit flavors as well. Large portions and highest quality justify the higher costs, even compared to nyc places. Also being situated in a pet friendly town, they gave me a sample vanilla cup with a tiny milk bone for our redboned coon hound. We’ll be back.

When my family travels to Amelia Island from Minnesota we love to stop at this charming ice cream shop. The colorful shop and beautiful outdoor surrounding puts a smile on our face as we pull in to enjoy a treat. The soft serve and hard ice cream is high quality, and the shop’s own creations like the Chubby Mermaid are top notch! We also like that they serve food like and sandwiches, hot dogs and pretzels. It’s just a short walk from our hotel and the beach, well maintained and very clean. We look forward to DeNuccis with each return visit!

I had the turkey/​avocado-​egg salad wrap w/​sweet potato fries and it was delicious! The rest of my family all wanted the crispy fried chicken sandwich with onion rings and they all loved them. Got some ice cream after, and it was quite tasty as well. If we ever go back to this beach, we’ll definitely be hitting this place up again!

Great ice cream and service. We got in line a few minutes after the posted closing time and they still offered to serve us. That was impressive on its own but the ice cream was equally good.

Best Ice Cream on the island!!! Tasty and creamy. They have regular, sugar free, non-​fat, hard, soft, yogurt, everything. Highly recommended!!!

Great place for a quick stop for lunch. The hotdogs were delicious and the buns were very fresh. The owner was there working in the kitchen and was very friendly. It was also very well kept and clean!

Okay little place… nice for a bite of ice cream. Quite crowded when we were there, good sign. Not a lot of indoor seating, some outside.

DeNucci’s Soft Serve on Sadler Road is tucked away in a tree shaded nook about half way to the beach. What’s pleasant is this family owned and operated business is like the ice cream parlors and sandwich shops of the pre-​fast food franchise era! I live here and this is a great drive through for ice ceream or a smoothie on the go or even a lunch sandwich. Known for their great hotdogs there’s lot more variety added with burgers, sandwiches and wraps to choose. Kid friendly atmosphere to eat inside or picnic style tables and play area available, especially just in from the beach. Colorful place and friendly service with good eats.

A cute lil ice cream shop family owned since 2010, tucked into a nook of shade trees just before main beach w happy soothing colors that invite you to come enjoy the goods.
They offer a small fenced play area for the tikes to jump & play — safe from drive thru traffic & from running into anyone who may be devouring a giant cone of frozen custard, so as not to cause any frozen collisions of Opps!
They offer the BEST frozen custard I have ever had the pleasure of. I’m so grateful they are only a mile from my condo!
They offer every type of ice cream — soft serve, hard scoop, & frozen custard with many mixed flavors & toppings to choose from.
Banana Splits, Sundae’s, Parfaits, Shakes, Malts, Floats, Slushies, Frappé’s, & Speciality Concoctions galore!

Then comes the all beef Hot dogs w all sorts of toppings, Sandwiches, Wraps, Burgers, Soft Pretzels, Onion Rings & Fries w toppings!

Went here twice during our trip. I like this place because they have no sugar added frozen yogurt and ice cream for my diabetic mother. I had the regular swirl soft serve which was delicious! My mom likes hers as well. 4 stars because they could use more sugar free options. Go here if you want a cool refreshment.

Awesome selection of ice creams! Try the pretzel cone– it sounds like a gimmick but its amazing!

I’ll quote my youngest– «I knew this place was 5-​stars from the first time I even saw it!»
This is a classic ice-​cream stand. Probably have the widest variety of cones I’ve seen anywhere (M+M cookie cone? Yup.) Have about 8 – 10 flavors of soft-​serve and 8 – 10 different hand-​scoop flavors. Way better than the DQ down the road and no more expensive. Our family of 4 made it through each time for about $ 15-​$ 20 a pop… and that was letting the kids go pretty wild with the requests (you must need the patience of a saint to wait on kids at an ice-​cream stand…)
Always a line in the 5 times we went during our 5 days on the island, but always quick. They have a drive-​through but we didn’t use it. Sit inside in the A/​C or there’s nice seating outside.

I have to be honest. I would have been happier with a tub of ice cream from Publix. We got the Butter Pecan, Peach, and Red white and blue.
The Butter Pecan tasted very old and I didn’t finish it (and I only got a kids cup).
We had ice cream from another place on the island which was much better, leaving this as a bit of a let down.

On their sign, they had Dole Whip, which I love. (pineapple Dole Whip is what I’ve had before at the Magic Kingdom at Disney World) So when I ordered, the girl said they had Strawberry Dole Whip. So I ordered that, and it was okay, nothing special. ($ 2.39 + tax for a small)
