History

Established in 1988.

After moving to Amelia Island, FL in 1988 Fifi Queen opened her first «Fifi’s Fine Resale Apparel» boutique. Selling «pretty clothes at bargain prices» the business began to grow rapidly. Fifi opened more stores in Florida and then North Carolina.

Jessica Miller bought this shop in June 2004. Mrs. Miller earned her Bachelor of Science cum laude in fashion merchandising from the University of Maryland, and worked in product developement for OshKosh B’Gosh and Fila Outdoor and Winter Sports before moving to FL to work in Stein Mart’s corporate buying offices. In 2004, she had the oportunity to purchase Fifi’s — combining working with clothes and people on the island paradise she calls home.

Fifi’s has won the Newsleader Best of the Best Consignment store 2008, 2009, & 2010. Mrs. Miller was awarded one of the 2009 Leading Women in Nassau County Business.

Has a passion for fashion. Voted best dressed in her high school senior class. Voted best dressed student athlete freshman year at American University. Earned Bachelor of Science cum laude in Fashion Merchandising from the University of Maryland.

Had the pleasure of working in product development for OshKosh B’Gosh and Fila Outdoor and Winter Sports before moving to FL to work in Stein Mart’s corporate buying offices. In 2004, had the opportunity to purchase Fifi’s — combining her love of people and clothing and accessories with living on island paradise!

Love being a part of this community and giving back at every opportunity. Member of the Amelia Island Chamber of Commerce, National Association of Resale and Thrift Stores, American Business Women’s Association, and Women in Nassau helping Women in Need.
