Established in 2007.

Doris and Ted Isaacson launched SERVPRO Industries, Inc. in 1967 as a painting business in Sacramento, California. With a background in cleaning and restoration, Doris and Ted changed the direction of the company, becoming a franchisor of cleanup and restoration services.

SERVPRO Industries, Inc. sold their first franchise in 1969 and in 1979, it acquired the Bristol-​Myers Domesticare Division and its 175 franchises. In order to provide more room for expansion, SERVPRO Industries, Inc. relocated their corporate headquarters from Sacramento to Gallatin in 1988, placing itself within 600 miles (970 km) of 50 percent of the U.S. population. At the time of the relocation, the SERVPRO Industries, Inc. system consisted of 647 franchises.

SERVPRO Industries, Inc. sold its 1,000^th franchise in 2000. Today, the company employs more than 350 corporate staff at its national headquarters and supports a network of more than 1,600 franchises.
