Front desk people were very impolite even when issues like a broken window lock and dirty socks in the room were brought to thier attention. Barely an apology was given. The bathroom had hair and dust all over. It seems like every wall I looked at had something on it. The blankets had holes in them. The breakfast was on the lower end of free breakfasts not much there. The pool is kind of hard to walk around thete is about 2 feet all the way around so if someone happens to be sitting in a chair by the pool you have to be very careful when going by or you will fall in. Will not stay here again.

Its my first time staying at super8 so I wasn’t sure what to expect. We had dinner at Dennys just next door, we were planning to go find a hotel for the night in Belingham but decided to check this one out, we couldn’t be happier for a no reservation and last minute check in. I paid $ 88 for room for the night with two queen bed the room is spacious enough for our night I was happy, the room is clean, the bathroom is very clean and there was no funny smell in the room or the whole way. Also breakfast is included for that price. There is tv, fridge, microwave and coffee machine in the room so what else does want for that price. I am giving 4 stars because I am not sure what going on outside in the parking lot, I found a couple of men drinking in the parking lot not sure if they were guests or who, so for that I wasn’t sure if my car is safe or not. I do recommend this super8 and I am willing to try other ones in a different locations next time

I Was very impressed with the service at this motel. Paul and Nina were so very helpful with some very tricky situations we ran into. We stayed here with a huge group of high school kids and the staff was so accommodating and helpful. Rooms are basic but clean. Great pool for kids and nice breakfast. Thank you

I would never choose to stay in a Super 8 Hotel, ever. However, my work put it’s members in this hotel for our stay in the Bellingham area. The hotel is no bueno, guest service is not good, and the building is old. Find a nicer hotel if you are the area.

Typical Super 8. Everything was clean especially the bathroom. My room seemed dark. I think it only had one bulb in the ceiling light. Room has both microwave and mini-fridge which is nice. Check in and out were a breeze and front desk staff was nice. I tried out the hot tub which was great. It’s indoors along with the pool. The continental breakfast in the morning was ok, pretty much like most hotels. I find it nice to have coffee made for me in the morning so that’s about all I had. Oh and a little cinnamon bun that was pretty darn tasty. Not sure if I’d stay here again. The darkness in the room really bummed me out. I got a great deal on my room through .

This is the first review I have written on a hotel, but was so appalled by my stay, that I had to write this. First, at $ 160 a night this hotel was outrageously over priced. First thing I noticed was the toilet was sized for a pre schooler. About 10 inches from the floor and about 10 inches round. The first use caused a clog, which when reported to the front desk was answered by «I’ll bring you a plunger». As with the other reviewer, the linens were very thin and it was hard to determine which was the bath towel and which was the floor mat. The sheets were thin and very cheap. This happens to be a hotel that many truck drivers use, and if you like the sound of running truck refrigeration all night long, this hotel is for you. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel or recommend it to anyone.

Avoid at all cost! My husband and I were recently in Bellingham/Ferndale area and had previously made a reservation to stay at this Super 8. Upon arrival we found our reservation missing. The desk clerk/manager proceeded to tell me it was my word against him since I did not have my confirmation number on me. It was figured out that he had made my reservation for the day previously. He was very pompous and rude and not even slightly apologetic. I know for fact that I made my reservation for the proper day but once again is was my word against his word as he put it. He also told me «I have worked here for three years and don’t make mistakes like this» I’ve worked my job for five years, but still manage to make mistakes, even big ones now and then. What can I say, I’m human and I learn from my mistakes but he apparently is not human. He offered me a smoking room for a higher price. Why would anyone pay a higher price for a crappy room? I argued him down to the same price as my original room and was charged for both days even though I made the reservation for the one day only. When I contacted the Owner a few days later his customer service skills were no better than his managers. He didn’t show any remorse or even apologize. They agreed to refund me half of the fee for the one night we did not book. When I told him how displeased I was with his company and that I would post reviews about this experience he revoked his offer of a half refund for a night I did not book. Worst experience ever, I stayed in that piece of sh*t smoking room out of hope that they would refund me for the night I did not book. No such luck. Worst customer service ever. p. s. Our friends stayed in non smoking rooms and said the smoke smell was awful in their rooms too.

We were very pleased with the service when checking in and the room was comfortable and clean. We had no problem with noise as others have mentioned. For a discount hotel chain, this was 5 star. Show your room key at the Denny’s next door and get 10% off your bill. We will stay again and the next time will bring swimwear so we can take advantage of the indoor pool. The bed was a little softer than I am use to but for one nights stay, I didn’t lose any sleep. The shower had lots of hot water and amazing water pressure. Good job Super 8!

For a cheap hotel room, it’s not bad. However there were a few complaints I had. The bedding is extremely thin and non-inviting like a bed should be. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear a person’s phone conversation as clear as day in the rooms next to you. Overall, not bad for the price you pay. Continental breakfast is a nice perk as well as the discount at Denny’s right next door. Wireless was sporadic.

I recently booked a 3-week stay for myself and 7 others to complete a construction project in the area. The good: –Decent continental breakfast, including hot waffles, juice, yogurt and pastries(all of which are not stale, actually pretty good) –Clean lobby, parking lot and rooms –Each room has a fridge/microwave(and they work too) –Go literally steps away to the Denny’s next door, show your room key for 10% off –Excellent wireless –Subway is steps away as well The not-so-good: –Sheets are thin, beds are hard and pillows a bit flat for my taste –Customer service leaves something to be desired in the ‘prompt’ category, but is still helpful If I were in the Ferndale area again and needed a place to stay, I’d probably come here again.
