I needed my wheels balanced and called ahead to see if they could fit me in first thing on a Monday morning. They had an opening and got me right in. While they had the wheels off they checked the breaks and rotors and at my request quoted replacement of the front rotors. No high pressure up-​sale, just good helpful information and fair pricing with options. Clean shop and waiting area, polite and helpful service.

I called in advance to see if they offered free tire rotation since the place I bought my brand new car didn’t offer any extras for free. tire rotations not included with any type of service.
So I got a quick response from a friendly voice here at the Goodyear shop in Tacoma off hwy Pacific hwy (aka highway 99). Made my way to the shop and within an hour (because other folks were there for appointments), I had my vehicle back.
Thank you Goodyear! It’s nice to know there are still some free services left in this world. :)

**BEWARE OF THE $ 19.95 OIL CHANGE «DEAL”**
I was incredibly stoked to find that this business did online reservations, and had a great coupon for a $ 19.95 oil change with free 29 pt inspection. That is a great deal and I was excited to take my vehicle in.
Upon arrival, the gentleman behind the counter asked me what type of vehicle I had. I was a little confused, because I had entered all of this information into the online reservation system the day before. My vehicle information was on the automated email confirming my reservation as well. Nonetheless I explained to him what my vehicle was, and what he said next shocked me.
He explained that according to «the computer» my vehicle recommended a full synthetic oil change which is $ 59.99, but he could give me 10.00 off for $ 49.99. I explained that no I would not be interested in that, and that my vehicle is 224,000 miles and 21 years old and only driven on weekends, so that would not be necessary. He then explained that his «computer» stated that he would not be able to do any oil changes on my car other than what was recommended. Again I explained that I would not like that oil change, and the coupon special would be fine. He said no, he would not do it, can’t, and they let me leave. So there I was in the parking lot without my oil changed.
Now, one of 2 things happened. Either they attempted to up-​sell me to a very costly oil change and did not feel like doing a $ 19.99 quick job, or B. They were telling the truth and he could not service my vehicle for anything other than what is recommended on his computer.
Personally, I don’t believe the computer story. I feel that they figured I’d take the bait on the up-​sell and since I didn’t, they just flat out refused to do the vehicle.
Assuming it is the truth, then I am still going to be upset because I feel that when I entered my vehicle information on the computer for the reservation the day before, something should have popped up stating my vehicle was EXCLUDED. Or, when my reservation appeared on their computer and work chart for the day, someone should have called me and stated that my vehicle was not part of the deal PRIOR to me driving all the way to Fife and wasting my time. There was absolutely NO fine print on the coupon stating that some vehicles are excluded. I looked before I made the reservation.
This was a hassle and a major inconvenience that could easily been avoided had someone done their job. Either by alerting me when I MADE the reservation, or simply going ahead and performing the $ 19.95 service.
I don’t recommend this business at all.
