History

Established in 2009.

Starting out in 2009 at our Olympia location, our staff had over 30 years of retail furniture experience. In November of 2013 our store and warehouse moved to Fife, WA.

Throughout this time we have kept our business model the same and try to keep our inventory in stock and ready to take home. If you see something on our showroom floor and want it now, we can have it wrapped and loaded onto your truck for immediate satisfaction.

Maggi and Kevin live locally and work in the store daily. We are a small «mom and pop» store employing seven long-time, knowledgeable employees who are like our family, with families of their own.

Kevin has over 30 years of retail furniture experience in Washington state, from gently-used to high end, name brands and has an excellent reputation in the industry. He has extensive knowledge of manufacturers’ quality and primarily shops their factory closeouts and specials, to bring our customers the absolutely lowest possible price on QUALITY home furnishings.

We just purchased a new bed and mattress for quite a steal! Isaac was extremely helpful in explaining all the details of each product we were contemplating. He was also very patient and gave us space and time to discuss before purchasing. We will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

I wasn’t impressed. I was told in the store a truck would be in w my table in 3 – 4 weeks and then they would call to schedule the delivery. 5 weeks later, I call to ask about it. I was told someone would call me back. No one did. I call back after a day or two and am told it’s going to that week. A week goes by and I call back. The lady although pleasant enough tells me there’s not much she can do but will find out. She does call me back after finding out the truck will be in the next day and they will same day deliver it.
Overall my table that was quoted a month took me 2 months and some change. I’m happy with table now that I have it at least.

Nothing but positive things to say about this place! My family and I recently moved to Seattle and had to downsize so we were in need of just about everything. So far I’ve purchased two complete bedroom sets and a dining room table and we will be returning shortly to purchase more. All the furniture is as advertised and we love it! Our salesman Kevin was extremely nice and not pushy at all, the one time we did not find what we were looking for he was very patient and gave us multiple options rather than push is towards something we didn’t want. We did the no credit financing, and him and the crew there were very upfront about the procedure and what to expect. There were no surprises. I wouldn’t go anywhere else for my furniture! Thanks guys!

I stumbled upon this company while at the Washington State fair. After 30 – 45 minutes of what felt like a water-boarding interrogation tactic from the folks at Sleep Country, I came upon this place by chance. Their furniture was all reasonably priced and of good quality. I took a business card and later visited their shop. I dealt with sales rep Isaac at the fair and also at the warehouse. I can only come to the conclusion that this place builds its foundation upon the core values of fairness and honesty. To say the least, I purchased a remarkable sofa/love seat set from them and will continue to re-visit this place to furnish my home. This is an honest, family owned company that gives me a new-found faith in humanity.

Just got done with a review of ashley furniture experience, which was horrible by the way.
Anyway, we went to stack furniture about three times now. I can tell you that our first time wasn’t the best because we were trying to look around but anna was very talkative and tried showing us alot of products continuously without giving us much time to browse and talk between ourselves. It was a bit overwhelming but she was nice, even though she clearly put it out there that she was a men-hater…
They told us that they can beat most other places prices and to take pictures so they know exactly what it is, so with that, we went looking at other stores for what we wanted.
We went to ashley furniture and found exactly what we wanted and gave them a call. Casey and Isaac were both very helpful and while we were at ashley, they found what we wanted and gave us a quote which turned out to be cheaper!
We went straight to stack after revisiting one more store and Isaac had everything ready, with picture, and warranty brochure. Just make sure to read it over even though it’s a lot of fine print. They do their own delivery service after hours and you pay them cash or check on that day they deliver.
Though it takes some time for the furniture, we have to wait 17 days for ours, it’s not like 3 months!
It’s all American furniture and shipped by trucks in America instead of foreign ships.
They don’t work on commission.
The only star bump was due to the first visit and because we had to go back to get our 5% military discount since they didn’t mention it when we bought the stuff, which i saw it in a newspaper a few days later. (At least they honored it!) :)
Overall, good customer service from Isaac and Casey and probably will be going back for a bed and nightstands we were eyeing. By the way, the prices on the nightstands beat amazon by almost 20 bucks. (That says alot to us, who shop on amazon alot) Fair prices on all other furniture too and they have a bunch of catalogs to look through in case they don’t have it on their floor.

I am really glad I stopped in here. Super helpful and friendly staff from the owner down. No pressure to make a purchase. I for one don’t need to walk into a super high polished show room and offered a latte. When I see that I just see $$$ added to the purchase price. If you’re looking for nice, down to earth people and don’t care about all the fluff, this is the place. Don’t get me wrong, the warehouse is nice, clean and organized. And the best thing… my couch was $ 500 cheaper here vs. any of the other stores for the exact same sectional. I’ll save the money and buy my own latte thank you very much. Thank you Casey and the others at Stack.

The staff member who helped me, Anna, not only answered all my questions but they took the time to help figure out what pieces would work for my space, budget and style. I called up stack furniture because my sister was relocating to the Fife area and as a present I wanted to have some furniture delivered to her.
You can tell they are a family business. They were very accommodating and they got the order right so when my sister showed up they were waiting to put it in for her.
Pricing wasn’t really a concern to me but they had good pricing on the furniture. They even set it up nicely rather than just dropping off and leaving. It was a great surprise to her and I was very happy with them. I would recommend Stack to anyone.
