Pretty classy joint located on top of the EQC in Fife. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now and recently stopped in for dinner. I noticed the atmosphere right away, it’s a lot quieter than the casino section and doesn’t smell like smoke lol. The restaurant sits above the freeway and provides a decent view. It’s pretty intimate inside and they have both booth and table seating. Service was super friendly and our table was always tended to. Their menu leans to the steakhouse side but they do offer other options such as Chinese food and some seafood choices. Pricing was decent for a place like this. I went with the rib eye dinner with clam chowdah on the side. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the soup and sides were good too. Not much bad to say about this place and I wouldn’t mind coming back here again. It’s probably the best restaurant in Fife imo.

I really dig this place. I have to admit that one reason is that the bar is named after my grandpa, Big Reub. He’d be proud. I like the rest of the place too. We did have to wait a long time, and the dining room was not even all that busy. To make matters worse, the host would not let us wait upstairs, in the actual waiting room, but down in the smokey, loud, creepy casino. The food was pretty good. The lunch menu was not big. There were some breakfast options, lunch options and some Chinese options, but overall it seemed quite limited. I was underwhelmed by my steak and eggs, but that’s a sort of boring dish anyway. Everyone else’s food looked and was reported to taste amazing. Some one got some sort of open faced turkey thing(on the day after thanksgiving) and it was EEEEENORMOUS. The view is interesting. Our table overlooked the freeway and the industrial town of Fife. At least it was a nice day out. I’ll definitely come back if I’m in the area.

My husband and I dined at the Tatoosh Grill last weekend and split the«Casino Dinner»(essentially a Chinese meal for two). The food was delicious — very well cooked. The portions are huge as well, we had enough leftover for two meals. We will definitely be back — loved the dim lighting and the overlook of the freeway(Doesn’t sound very nice but we thought it was kinda cool).

Middle of the week. The service was horrible. The five minute wait was more like twenty. Weren’t even asked about if it was ok to sit in bar. But set us there anf even remarked to the lady who sit us she gave us out menus and left. he was busy after five minutes or more we left. Talk to manager he’s sorry and gonna talk to staff. Didn’t even try to make it up to us. The guy with the Mohawk was sitting people and doing lots of other items, the girl kept trying to ask him about seating but he was busy.

Visited on a Wednesday night. Service was excellent. I had a Chilean sea bass. Perfectly cooked. The Tatoosh salad was a meal in of itself. Guest had the steak salad. No complaints. Have been here multiple times and the hot and sour soup is A plus. A hidden gem.

Amazing breakfast. Super clean looking plates. The country fried steak is great. Not too breaded. Nive light sauce. Also cane here for dinner twice. I never ordered from the Chinese menu but the veal marsala was great. Wonderful marsala sauce. Pasta was cooked well and presentation was great. Also I never had issues with the staff. They’re also great. Plus it’s away from all the smoke.

Worst chinese food ever! The front desk said it’s good and that you’ll end up bringing a whole bunch home coz there’s a lot of food. It was bad! The sauce was bad, the chicken and pork was fake. The shrimp was 75% batter 25% shrimp. Big disappointment! Nasty nasty nasty!

This restaurant was the worst food we have had in awhile. We had the casino dinner for two for $ 39.95 which was way overpriced even without sales tax. The meal had BBQ pork, pot stickers, tempura prawns(mostly tempura), sweet and sour pork(breaded chunks of gristle), almond fried chicken(too much breading), Mongolian beef and special fried rice. There was no flavor and the service was very poor. I don’t usually write poor reviews but this was a waste of time and money. Even if the meal had been comped as many of the meals we saw being served, it would have been over priced.

This is a fine dining restaurant. Service is close to excellent. No taxes on your food. We try a few dishes here: Cedar King salmon is really good $ 25. Not dry at all and full of flavor. Breaded Red snapper was a lunch special for $ 12. Their lobster fettuccine pasta was our favorite. There was real chunk of lobsters in there! You also get Warm Sour dough bread with butter ball as a complimentary before your entrée. Plenty of parking. If you are a non smoker, recommend taking the stairs instead of elevator. Also, if you want dinner menu during lunch time they will not serve it and vice a versa.

The food doesn’t taste as good as it look. The«Dinner for 2» option is pretty bad. Sure they give you more food but the food is very very tasteless. Service was excellent. The fried prawn wasn’t actually a prawn it was a small shrimp being wrapped in a very thick batter. The red bbq meat(char-siu) was old, plus they didn’t serve it with the right sauce. Oh not to mention the price, so not worth the food. People come to spend load of their money on the machine down stair already, it feel it kinda not fair to charge them that much for such mediocre food. I give them 1 star for the yummy bread and butter. Sadlly that is all i enjoy eating there.

I went here with a big group of people that I volunteer with in the community— let’s say there was 20 of us so we were in their private room which had a great view of I-5 and Rainier. Food — was good! I don’t have any complaints at all. Was it spectacular? No, it was avergage. Was it bad, no, like I said it was average. I can’t remember specifically the name of my dinner entrée since it has been awhile but it was a seafood dish. I remember I finished it since it was just an average food portion. Service was pretty good and you seat comfortably in the private room and it looked like that as well in the regular dining room. I wouldn’t give this a 4 or 5 star. because if everything was average. Price was decent, not too overpriced plus you don’t pay for tax! I hated going through the casino just to get to the restaurant– I have the smell of smoke and just casinos in general. I think there’s another entrance where you probably don’t have to go through the whole casino. PLUS, I got carded twice– once at the entrance and second at the table which irritated me… which I’m sure other ladies wouldn’t mind being carded.

Oh man surf and turf at it’s best! I am not a huge fan of casinos as I am a non smoker and despite the fact that we had a non smoking room the stench was terrible but this dinner was fabulous. Got a great seat and the wine was so wondering and again the steak and crab. YUM! One thing I will say is that the servers did not seem to know proper fine dining basics. The wine arrived opened and he did not pour and let us taste, he just sat it on the table and left it :) It was amusing but I have never experienced this.

Great price and food. We happen to visit on one of those rare clear days and had an amazing view Mt Reiner. My wife’s grandfather eats here almost every day so all the staff are very attentive. The French Dip Sandwich and Omelet are my favorites.

This is my first review. I love reading them but have never felt more compelled to add my two cents before! My experience at Tatoosh was HORRIBLE. We were celebrating by boyfriend’s 30th birthday and had a dinner party of 8. The dinner started out ok but the service was a little slow and the restaurant was not busy. When our server started taking our orders it seemed she was not at all familiar with the menu, not asking about salad or starch choices before moving on to the next order. When we ordered our second round of drinks she began forgetting a few orders and was constantly having to go back and forth trying to remember everything. The food was decent which is why I was gracious enough to give Tatoosh 1 star. When we finished our meal we asked for our bill right away, since we were attending a concert at the Showroom and had 30 mins before it started. Our server had asked from the beginning if we would like to split the tabs up and seemed to be tracking things that way. Unfortunately, this was not the case. It took her 25 mins to attempt splitting the bill. We saw her ask her manager for help and noticed other servers picking up her 2 other tables. After 25 mins she told us she was unable to split the bill but if we took it up to the front desk they would have no problem. She claimed her system was too confusing.(What??) We asked to speak to the manager who was COMPLETELY unhelpful. I asked why he didn’t support her more when she was clearly struggling because the result was an overall horrible dining experience for us. He claimed he had no idea what was going on and was not attempting to offer any solutions for our concerns. We finally had to just ask him to comp. some dinners but it should have never gotten to that point! Do not eat here if you like friendly, professional service provided by competent individuals.

Had breakfast at this place which is on the 3rd floor of the Emerald Queen Casino. Good view of the freeway… although I suppose you usually can see the mountain. I had an omelette which is $ 8 and you can choose 4 things to put in it. It was really good. The menu was really small and didn’t have much besides the normal breakfast stuff. No scrambles or skillets like you see at most breakfast places now. But I like omelettes and this is a convenient place to stop if I am heading south. Now I know how to avoid the smoky casino so I can bring my kids with me.

Only reason this place is getting 2 stars is because I didnt enjoy my food really at all! The service was excellent… I totally LOVE the view there but the food was a total fail! I got the Mediterranean Seafood dish… I was not pleased at all… especially for the price. It included scallops, white fish, clams, prawns, and a PIECE of king crab over two weird potatoe like things… in a white saffron sauce… well thats what the menu said. I wasnt a fan of the dish. I would not suggest this to anyone else. However The menu is pretty good ranged… and I will come back to try something else… like I said the food wasnt to my liking but the service was excellent and the view pretty spactacular.

The Tatoosh grill is located on top of the Emerald Queen casino. The entrance is a little tucked away from the maze of slot machines so you may not see it at first. The view from the dining room is great. The big windows give you a glimpse of Mount Rainier depending where you are sitting. The tables are even cool. They are made out of small circular slices of a log laid together below a sheet of glass. Very cool. I like coming here because the food is great and everything is priced really well. You can get stuff like steaks, chicken, seafood, and even some Chinese dishes. For the money, I don’t think you are going to get a better value at any other local restaurant. The menu is priced about 25% lower than places that serve comprable food. Being that it is part of the native casino, you won’t pay any sales tax on your meal either!
