History

Established in 1972.

The business has always been run as a family. We taught the kids about good work ethics and how to earn a living. There are many fond memories of the great times we’ve had, skipping rocks on the water, stopping for ice cream between jobs — just fun stuff. They’re all grown now and have moved on to the next chapter in their lives.

Currently we serve approximately 200 commercial and residential accounts in the Gig Harbor, University Place, Fircrest and Lakewood areas. We’ve served many of our customers for over 30 years.

I’ve always enjoyed being outdoors, as well as the physical nature of the job — it’s good exercise, but not grueling. I’ve adjusted in recent years to no longer taking on any new clients that would require ladder work. I like keeping my feet on the ground. :-)

I was born and raised in San Diego, graduated from Point Loma HS and attended one year at SDSU. It occurred to me within that first year at SDSU that self-​employment would be my journey to the independence and flexibility of schedule that so appealed to me.

Would leaving the ideal window cleaning climate of the southwest to raise a family in the drizzly setting of the northwest make sense? Yes! Window cleaning has been our mainstay for the last 40+ years. I’ve also been a licensed insurance agent since the late 90’s.

We raised our three children in Gig Harbor and currently reside in Tacoma.

The VERY short list of hobbies /​things I enjoy: Stargazing, photography, bowling, platicando en español, making home-​made ice cream, appreciating a new red wine paired with the right cheese — yum!, getting a hummingbird to light on my finger — fun!
