Don’t come in expecting delicious top of the line food. It’d Chinese fast food. It’s mall Chinese quality food and it’s good for what it is. The hot and spicy chicken with lots mein was satisfactory and I ate it but the hot and spicy was not there at all. It was covered in a very bland almost brown gravy sauce. Highlight of the meal was definitely the crab rangoon.

Waited over an hour for delivery and I live less than a mile away. My Fried rice was hard, like made the day before hard. I even tried adding some water and steaming to no avail. The lo mein was greasy. Both were lacking flavor. Would not recommend at all.

While sitting there waiting for our food there where 3 empty soy sauce bottles(no filled bottles), also while waiting at least 10 people walked in the 1 person was the last person to get their food. The food was okay, but the styrofoam bowls and plates were not surprising and the plastic silverware as well, and the service was not great at all.

We enjoyed our lunch«in» at the Happy Dragon. They gave good portions that are hot, fresh and have tons of flavor. They were reasonably priced too! We will go back. I wish they had music playing while we were there, as the dining room was painfully silent. We understand they cater to carry out and delivery, so they probably do not have a lot of dining in. Don’t miss out on some great food though, worth it!

I live less than a mile away from this place, I can place an order and wait patiently for an hour, then call and get told it’s on the way. Then you can call from a different number and they will tell you it’s just now being cooked. Then call from a third number and they tell you it’s out for delivery. Then they call the original number back and admit they can’t make dumplings. This place is nothing but a sham. STAYAWAY!

The food was really good, but delivery took two hours to get to my home which is 2.5 miles away. After an hour and a half of waiting, I called and they said they were really busy and hadn’t started the food yet. Two hours later I called again and they said delivery was out and I said that’s fine but it’s ridiculous that it was taking so long. The lady laughed and said sorry but they were busy. I get a restaurant being busy, but two hours is unacceptable. I asked to speak to the manager and was told no one was there. When we did get the food, it was still hot but soy sauce had spilled into and onto everything. The food was good, but I will never do delivery again. Very disappointed.

Have always had great food. Usually order the combos there and they are good. Fresh ingredients. Staff could be a little more friendly but food is usually out fast and is presented well.

Woe is the unhappy dragon customer :(I have to admit that I tried this restaurant twice and was unhappy both times. I’ll keep it simple, we ordered take out and it was the most stingy spread of Chinese takeout I’ve EVER seen. My favorite dish sweet and sour pork was inedible(no idea what their sauce is but once I tasted it I remembered I didn’t eat it last time I ordered I was so sad because I am the least picky eater ever!). But lucky for me, I did order 2 of the general tso’s chicken which was very tasty and although supposed to be a meal for later filled my tummy. So to sum it up the meal cost the same as other local yokels but we got a third of the food, and it’s too bad because outside of the one dish the rest was super yummy.

We waited 10 minutes and left. They were too busy eating to wait on us. They knew we were there. No one came to the table to take drink orders or anything.

I have ordered from here a few times and have had it delivered. I have never had any problems and the food has been pretty good. Well not today:(I called at 6pm and they said it would be an hour. Ok No biggie. After an hour and 40 mins it was a big deal and the food was cold and the crab Rangoon tasted like the filling was completely dried out. My husband and I were very disappointed and did not enjoy our dinner.

This place. Fantastic for lunch. Bold flavors. Fresh veg. Low price. The rectangular plates are a nice touch. Friendly staff too. I’ll be back.

Sweet and Sour Chicken, Fried Rice, Crab Rangoon and Egg Roll. Was below average at best. Ate one crab rangoon but could not eat another. the filling had a wax like consistency as did the egg roll. The egg roll was more like a frozen and then fried egg roll. The Fried rice was the best part of the meal. The Sweet Sour Chicken was okay just too soggy and too much breading. They were quick and friendly as far as service but the food is subpar. I travel all over US and definitely have had better. Went to the Target grocery store to satisfy my appetite. I guess for the money I could have gotten better heat and serve chinese in the grocery.

Poor Happy Dragon! They’ve caught some flack on here. I can’t speak to anyone else’s experience, but mine have always been STELLAR! I will say that I have never dined in, I work in Fishers so I have them deliver occasionally. I can’t bring myself to try anything aside from the Sesame Chicken and Pork Egg Rolls because they are just so good. I mean, LOOK at that sesame chicken! It’s incredible. Happy Dragon is fantastic at what it is, pretty quick Chinese food. My experiences are, again, limited but I would seriously encourage you to give them a try.

This place is a step above the average Chinese walk-up. Ambience and cleanliness is good. Flooring is some kind of ceramic tile. All tables are booths, and the upholstery is clean and in good shape. The dining area is larger than what is normal for these kinds of places. Separate restrooms for men and women. Men’s room was very clean and had nice tile walls. The menu seems pretty standard: Appetizers, pints and quarts of stuff, daily lunch specials, combo dinners, and more expensive chef«specialties.» The menu contents seem the same as the standard green/red menus everywhere else, but this is nicely printed, glossy, and has some pictures. The hours on the menu and the web site are wrong. After confirming with the cashier, I learned that the actual hours are posted on the front door and are: Sun/Mon 4pm to 10pm. Tues-Thurs:10:30am to 10pm. Fri/Sat: 10:30am to 10:30 pm. The fried rice was the southern China Cantonese style, not the yellow style you see at most places. I think the owners were speaking Cantonese, as it didn’t sound like the Chinese I hear at most other places. Portion size was noticeably smaller than what I normally receive at other places. I’m a big eater, and had to eat more when I got home. But for normal folk it should be sufficient. My dine-in dinner was served on ceramic plates, and brought to my table. Utensils are cheapy plastic and self-serve from a table near the cashier. Drinks are cans and bottles from a cooler behind the counter; no soda fountain. Though portions may be a bit smaller than comparable Chinese restaurants, the food quality, nice ambience, and cleanliness make up. Next time I’ll just remember to add an appetizer.

Well that was a bad first(and only) impression. Called in my order, said it’d be ready in 20 mins, about 26 mins later I show up. The lady at the counter was on a phone call to take info for a delivery. So I wait a bit, no big deal. Although she had to take the callers credit info and write down their number and expiration date and zip code to process their card, even though she ripped it up, I could’ve been nosy enough while she wrote it down to have copied the caller’s info. But that’s neither here nor there. What was the problem was after she gets off the phone. She asks for my phone number and I’m assuming since I’m the only one there, the bag ready would be mine. Wrong. I tell her the meal numbers I ordered and then she tells me she just has to put it together. Ok, by this point 30 mins have gone by since placing the order, but I just want my lunch. She comes back with nothing. Asks my phone number again and proceeds to go in a different part in the back pretending to get my food. Returns with nothing again and asks what I ordered. I tell her again, the bag on counter she checks the receipt again, but it’s not my number and the meals ordered, one of the two numbers were the same. Turns out the previous customer(who was already gone when I walked in) took my order. She should’ve said she gave her my order, so while she tells me this lady just left, lo and behold, said lady returns with my order. Gets her untouched by another person meal and leaves. The lady working there then proceeds to give me the bag that the customer just returned with. No apology, and hello, how do I know she didn’t dig threw my food before she realized it wasn’t hers. I think not. So with that, I left without the lunch.

Looking for Chinese in Fishers? Keep looking! Food tasted possibly spoiled and like chemicals — scary stuff to me. Called to complain, and they offered 15% off next order! Asked for manager, was conveniently ‘not there.’ Left my number for a call back — never heard a word from manager/owner since. Food was tossed without eating. I simply don’t trust their food quality — not sure it’s safe.

Oh Fishers, WHEN will you get a decent Chinese place? We were so excited to receive Happy Dragon’s grand opening menu in our mailbox, hoping this would be the one to fulfill our dreams of salty spicy goodness in little square boxes… Alas, the search continues. To their credit, they were friendly and prompt in delivery. Prices and selection were as you’d expect– nothing extraordinary, but the leftovers(and there were plenty) went straight to the trash. The orange chicken and szechuan shrimp were mediocre at best(that is, until I pulled a very long black hair out of mine… no kidding), but the«hot and sour» soup would have been better labeled«tepid and a little rancid», the crab rangoons were disappointing and the pork fried rice tasted, as my husband said, «a little plastic-y.» Oh well– we’re maintaining hope. In the meantime, there’s plenty of great pizza places who deliver.
