This is an excellent, welcoming church. There is a diverse congregation, and there’s a separate kid’s church where the children are taught a similar message to what the adults are listening to in the main church. The children’s facility is spacious, clean, and safe. You have to sign your child in, and they aren’t released to you without the sticker they provide you when you check in. There’s also child care for babies and infants. There is a weekly boys scout/girls scout type class for the youngsters in the evenings. Children of all abilities are loved at this church. They always have free doughnuts or cookies and coffee in the lobby before services(Saturday 6pm, Sunday 9am and 10:45am). The parking lot is spacious, and they even have activities to get involved with outside of church, such as events for seniors, knitting, spiritual-based classes for married couples or getting better with your finances, and just plain old fellowship meetings for potlucks and games. The service itself begins with awesome music — 3 songs usually. Then one of the pastors preaches for about an hour. All the pastors are amazing speakers and hold your attention, especially Pastor Josh, who’s extremely funny. Everyone at the church is friendly and loving, and those in leadership positions really go out of their way to make sure you are involved in the community. There’s never pressure to stay — if you find another church that appeals to you they are happy for you. They just really seem like they want you to have good relationship with God first and foremost. I grew up Catholic, but I love learning a deeper message about the bible, and this church really explains the readings and teachings of Jesus well. They have a monthly communion. And if you are new they offer this welcome dinner twice a year with the most amazing food and desserts! I’m glad I found this place!
