Dr. Fiddler is great and very thorough. He takes the time to get to know you personally in addition to making sure he reviews your medical history each time. Definitely opt for the $ 45 retinal screening and take care of those fabulous eyeballs of yours! It’s way less scary than the old school puff-of-air-shooting-you-in-the-eye diagnostic methods of long ago.
Zane (tall bearded guy with the cool specs) in the optical department is hilarious and super helpful.
The one downside to Ossip is the price of their contacts — they quoted me $ 550 for a year’s supply of daily disposables. I checked around online, and I can get the same brand/quantity for over $ 200 less.

So the only reason I like Ossip is that it is right next to Sun King (kidding…sort of). I have been coming to this Ossip for a very long time and Dr. Fiddler has always been a good steward for my eye care.
Growing up I always went to smaller optometrists but this (not smaller) location is terribly convenient. The staff is generally nice and explains everything adequately. One item I really like is you don’t have to typically wait very long to get contacts or glasses; my wife and kids go to a smaller place and I swear sometimes it takes 3 weeks to get stuff.
In the past I brought my son here for a scratch on his cornea and he was treated well for his injury.
Seems like Ossip carries a lot of overhead with staff and the frames business appears like a real scam. But overall no complaints with me at this location.

I called to see what there availability was, & was routed to a call center. Rather than just tell me the availability they had the rep took ALL of my information. Then when they didn’t have anything that would fit my schedule I asked the rep to delete my information. She told me she wasn’t able to do so. I emailed them & they stated that they deleted my information & offered me a free exam, & a few extra things. I went in & the ladies were very nice, the Dr even apologized for the bad experience. The frames were expensive as all get out. I requested my prescription, which they gave me, & I’ll buy my frames from
for far cheaper.

I regret not writing about this sooner.
For our wedding, I wanted to get custom Oakley sunglasses for my groomsmen. I know you can do that on their website, but somehow I ended up speaking to someone at Ossip.
They were TREMENDOUSLY helpful. The gal there put me in touch with their regional representative for Oakley who helped put our order together. She set up a meeting so we could meet with him and look at all kinds of samples. We were even able to get a custom pair for my wife (with our wedding date etched in the lens). The out-of-their way service was great and they gave us a discount since we bought 7 pairs of sunglasses.
I can’t speak to the optometry side of their business, but from a sunglass vendor and customer service standpoint alone, I’m giving 5 stars here.
