2nd Amendment Store

First, you need to know that this store is run by military vets. That’s the primary and best reason to go there in the first place. Secondly, they will not b.s. you and are simply terrific straightforward businessmen, willing to accommodate as best they can but only within their own limits. Like the great classic movie Miracle on 34^th Street, in which the Santa Claus referred Macy’s customers to another store, these guys were straight in telling me that they couldn’t beat the price on a certain gun with that of another store in town. So I bought the gun at a better price elsewhere, but you can bet that I took it to 2^nd Amendment to have some custom work done on it. I salute and respect these guys, as I am an older veteran than they are and so know how good these guys really are.

even being from out of town, these guys treated us like we were regulars in their shop. Genuinely wonderful to deal with. I will be back every time we are in the area.

Over the past several months I have purchased 2 complete firearms from this store, as well as many accessories and a decent amount of ammunition.
After having checked out most, if not all of, the gun stores in the Flagstaff area, I will only be going to 2^nd Amendment from now on. Some of the other places pressured me into sales, or talked down to me as if I were an uneducated child.
Phil and the other employee who I have interacted with (Troy I believe) have both been very friendly. They always take the time to answer my questions, and I bring them a lot of questions. As someone who is constantly trying to educate themselves about firearms, it is important for me to have these guys as a resource and they have even helped by halting my enthusiasm on purchases I didn’t really NEED, but was hyped up about.
To me that is one of the most telling things about this business: He would rather give me quality information and help educate me than make a sale I might end up regretting.
Phil has also done work on a pre-​existing AR-​15 of mine as well. The worksmanship on the work I had performed at this shop was excellent, and the price was very fair.

Called the store and spoke to Phil regarding an AR with the CA bullet button magazine release. I needed it removed and a standard mag release installed. Phil said bring it right in and I did. After just a few minutes, the job was done and the price he charged was more than reasonable. Nice store, good customer service, and friendly atmosphere,

Awesome small place and very informative. Of course it’s still a new business and they are doing they’re best to get every demand in. I would pick this store over any others in the Northern Arizona market. These guys are straight and honest with customers which this country lacks. I’ve worked at several firearm/​range stores and there will always be jack ass customers who shouldn’t own firearms in the first place who come in and don’t get what’s demanded. These guys know their stuff and will go beyond what they can to help a good customer out!

I have made a few purchases from the 2^nd amendment store over the past several months. I have never had a problem, the owner is very knowledgeable. Would make suggestions but wouldn’t push me into anything I did not want. Can’t beat the prices and if he didn’t have something I wanted he didn’t have a problem ordering it. I would 100% recommend the 2^nd amendment store to new and seasoned shooters.

Such a great store! I am always pleased with their service and the selection. The staff definitely knows what they are talking about and goes out of their way to help you. My husband and I travel out of our way just to swing in here. Highly recommended!

Small store, very knowledgable staff! I heard about this place from a friend and decided to check it out. I travel up north often for other sports I am into, this will be my main store for firearms and ammo.

Great customer service, very polite. I’m new to owning a firearm and they answered all my questions and concerns. I left the place feeling much better about my desicion.

Talked to a guy in the store named Joey or something when I walked in. I have a habit of going in and feeding BS to Gun employees to see if they’re lying to me or know what they’re talking about.
He did a great job when I talked to him, and he knew his shit! When I asked about things he didn’t know, he humbly said he would find out!

Awesome, awesome experience. I purchased a SCAR17S from this store for an amazing price. I corresponded with Phil via email for a couple of weeks before the transaction and Phil was MORE than helpful in answering any of my questions regarding the weapon and sale. He was prompt, courteous and professional in all of our interactions which made me feel very comfortable about purchasing such an expensive rifle. He threw in 6 SCAR magazines (which are not cheap) and installed my Magpul grip for me as well.
After the sale, he shipped the rifle promptly to my requested FFL dealer in Virginia and shipped the magazines separately free of charge to my home. I was so pleased when I received the rifle; I knew I had made a good decision by choosing to purchase from the 2^nd Amendment Store. I will definitely be purchasing another weapon from this store the next time I buy one!!!

I recently dealt with 2^nd amendment and couldn’t have been happier. Not only did they special order the gun I wanted but they had it there within 2 days! I will definitely be doing business with them in the future! If you’re in the market for a firearm do yourself a favor and check them out!

I have never had a better experience in a gun shop, and I have been to several. I drive all the way from Phoenix just to deal with them. The owner is a straight shooter who tells you like it is. This is especially helpful when purchasing a firearm. While the store inventory is lacking what a Cabelas could offer, they more than make up for in their personalized customer service and superb knowledge of the firearms industry. Do you want to chit chat about the weather? Hit up a coffee shop down the road. Want to get some expert knowledge? Stop in. I do every other month.

The level of knowledge and customer service is unmatched at the 2A Store. Went in wanting to purchase a very specific firearm. Phil, the owner, managed to find and get the weapon shipped in 2 days! I had been looking for months!
Couldn’t be happier with my purchase and would recommend Phil and the 2A Store to anyone in the area.

Small shop with very limited selection. The guy I talked to seemed knowledgeable, but I got the vibe that he was mainly interested in talking to law enforcement people or military routes, not regular guys who like to shoot as a hobby. He said they have a gunsmith, but the store seemed too small overall. The guy wasn’t rude, but he was short.

I raised the rating to four stars because of a recent visit. I just waited too long to post it. And was only reminded when the shop owner contacted me on here. The last time i was there, the attitude was somewhat lessened, the ammo selection is always good and the guy waiting the counter always had time for questions. Still need more selection though. Bought a pistol here as a California resident. They didn’t ID me and they ordered the wrong gun. Not only is it not what I asked for, but I couldn’t pick it up even if I did want it. On top of all of that they refused to refund me my $ 300 deposit.

The employees and the owner, Phil, have no knowledge about firearms, customer service or how to run a business. The owner was unreasonable and completely relinquished any blame for something that was clearly his fault. They pushed forward with a sell just to trap me into having to buy a pistol that; 1. I didn’t want after I specifically asked for a certain feature on the pistol. They failed to notify me that the feature was unavailable, which I confirmed with a licensed Walther dealer that they do in fact make the same pistol with the same feature I requested. 2. Failed to inquiry about my residence, which is California and they can not complete the transaction. 3. The owner told me that this is a «special order» and WILL NOT refund my $ 300.00 deposit. He also called me a Jackass when clearly the store and employees were at fault. I didn’t get a call saying that they were not going to be able to order the pistol I asked for and that they were ordering a different one. They just pretended like I knew exactly what I was getting when they switched the order on me. I would not even look in the stores direction. I wouldn’t even eat at a restaurant near it. One of the employees that I dealt with could not function without his boss and only repeated that he couldn’t do anything without the boss and to come in the next day to speak with him. You literally can train a parrot to say more than him.
