Accu-Brake Flagstaff 4x4

My transmission went out on my truck near seligman, after a lot of BS having the truck towed to Accu-​brake Jon was great. Doing everything over the phone because I live in Gilbert, Jon took care of everything. I would gladly do business with Accu-​brake again and recommend them highly.

Was shocked at how rude the woman at the counter was. She went out of her way to be mean. Sure hope she was just having a bad day and that’s not how she treats everyone. If you can go somewhere else I’d recommend avoiding this place. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a shop.

Honest to a fault :) Recently, my 2008 MiniCooper had an intermittent engine warning light, trouble starting, and poor engine performance. AccuBrake diagnosed the problem and determined that my high pressure fuel pump was defective. They could have done the repair themselves, but instead, they researched the problem and discovered that the defect was covered by a dealership extended warranty, a warranty I wasn’t aware of, and that the repair had to be done by a Mini dealer. So, Jim and John gave me the information and recommended I take the car to an authorized Mini dealer for repair.
It’s been my experience that most other repair shops would not have taken the time to discover the warranty protection for this particular issue and I would have had to pay the repair bill. I bow to Jim’s and John’s initiative and integrity.
AccuBrake has a sign posted in their lobby that describes the difference between Professional Diagnostics vs Basic Code Retrieval. Jim and John «live» by these standards. I believe that most other repair shops would have gone no further than the basic code retrieval, and certainly NOT given me information that ultimately cost them repair money.
I’ve been taking my vehicles to AccuBrake for the past 5 – 6 years for minor AND major repairs. The experience I’ve described in this review has been a consistent, recurring theme.

Went here a couple years ago because my A/​C was not blowing cold. The people who looked at my car were very honest about what was wrong and that a filter was just full of dirt. They replaced it at a fair price. What more could you ask for?

John and Jim, owners of Accu-​Brake (Flag 4×4), saved my life! I had been in an accident months before moving back to Northern Arizona, and my truck had been fixed through a local auto shop &insurance in Ohio. I had noticed my truck shaking when I went the speed limit on the Highway, and so I took my truck to the same shop used by all my truck driving friends. They quickly figured out that I had been driving on a cracked axle, which the insurance adjuster and the auto body shop had missed. The told me it was obviously from an accident and called my insurance agent, whom covered the entire repair almost a year after the accident.
I drive a Ford, and have had frequent issues with it. Flag 4×4 aka Accu Brake is so great about helping me fit repairs into my budget, explaining which repairs are urgent, and which I can wait on. Since I live far away they have let me drop my truck off after hours (they have a key drop) and return later in the week for it. Because I love this shop so much, I take my truck here for oil changes. It costs a little bit more than Jiffy Lube, but they always fill everything all the way up. They have really made my trucking days better!
