Caught up with Bayou by You on 4th street, in the parking lot by the UPS store.
To start, I had the meat pies. Get three, because one of these little guys is not enough. The dough is sweet and flaky, and the meat lightly seasoned and savory. Could easily demolish 30 of these little pies in one sitting.
As my main course, I chose a bowl of the étouffée, and I’m glad I did. A cup of this stuff would not be enough. Perfectly seasoned and loaded with tons of delicious crawfish to savor with each bite. If you’re a big eater, go for the large, and you’ll have some for later.
Definitely stop if you see the bright orange trailer, you wont regret it!
Also, if you’re headed to meet them specifically, you may want to bring an adult beverage for yourself, as they obviously do not sell alcohol. A light beer would have gone great with the étouffée.

Great authentic N’awlins creole food!!! Everything on the menu was delicious!!! Very kind and friendly couple own the food truck, you know they pour their heart and soul into their food. If you are looking for real southern Red Beans and Rice, Gumbo, Crawfish Étouffée and Jambalaya FIND THIS TRUCK you won’t be disappointed. Reasonably price for true authentic Cajun food. We will definitely be coming back for more.
