Boyer Heating & Cooling specializes in Home and Business Comfort Systems. We offer a complete 24hr service department (for maintenance and/​or repairs), residential and commercial heating and cooling installation, system design and custom sheet metal fabrication. Utilizing our 14,000 square foot custom sheet metal shop, we are able to make ductwork for large commercial jobs as well as custom fabrication requests. Our piping department specializes in boiler and chiller installations and replacements, and is complemented by a 24 hour service department that offers a variety of maintenance agreements for any type and model of home or business comfort system.

We are now offering solar hot water heating systems for domestic hot water, radiant floor heating and forced air gas furnace retrofits. Let us help you create a sustainable enviroment in your home!

History

Established in 1951.

In 1951 C.O. Boyer purchased Star Sheet Metal and moved his family to Flagstaff. The business name was changed to BOYER METAL COMPANY and opened for business in Flagstaff to serve the heating and cooling needs of northern Arizona. C.O. ran a successful heating and cooling company for 30 years before selling the business to his sons Ron and Brian Boyer in the early 1980’s. Since that time Boyer Metal has grown to become the largest and most respected heating and cooling company in the area. We have recently changed the company name to Boyer Heating & Cooling (Boyer HC) to better reflect the services provided to our customers.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Ron grew up in the heating and cooling business, working for his father at Boyer HC. Ron completed the Sheet Metal Apprentice program and turned out as a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker. He attended NAU and earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Ron completed the SMACNA Business Mgt and SMACNA Graduate Mgt courses at ASU. Ron is the President of Boyer HC. Besides overseeing the business functions, Ron is involved with design-​assist, estimating and project management.

Brian also grew up in the heating and cooling business, working for his father. Brian completed the Sheet Metal Apprentice program and turned out as a Journeyman Sheet Metal Worker as well. Brian attended NAU focusing on the Construction Management program. He also completed the SMACNA Business Mgt and SMACNA Graduate Mgt programs at ASU. Brian is the Vice President and Commercial Operations Mgr at Boyer HC. He manages the commercial department and is involved with estimating and project management.
