History

Established in 2006.

Christina has been grooming in Flagstaff for over 8 years. Sonny her husband is also a very experienced groomer taught by his wife. Christina’s son Anthony has been training for 6 years and is wonderful with the dogs and their owners. We have a great respect for our furry friends as they are also our clients and our furry friends. We are great with old dogs and have the facilities to offer comfort for the old guys. We have blankets in all the cages and offer a wait service for those who want to wait with their dogs. We also do pick up and delivery, for a small charge, and do cats. We are the best. try us and you can see for yourself.

We are very professional and sweet dog handlers. Dogs are also our clients, and need to be treated with respect and kindness. We believe we have a very nice atmosphere for our furry friends. We offer a quick turnaround and if u would like to wait with your pet.. we offer special appointments for that also. We are centrally located in flagstaff, and guarantee our work. .our address is 524 East Brannen. Comming down butler you would go north on Colorado and at the first stop sign you take a right.. Down a small dirt road.. You will see our blue building with lots of paw prints and a big dog on the front. Your first visit for grooming mention yelp and receive $ 10.00 off.

These guys are LIFESAVERS– special shout out to Sunny and Anthony. I travel a lot, and my dog comes everywhere with me. My dog thought he would indulge in the lovely scent that skunks spray, and that’s where these guys come into play.
I had no clue what on gods green earth to do in this type of situation, this should be part of this adoption process, but that’s a debate for later.
I had meetings all day long, literally. The first place we called that advertised pickup and de-​skunking told us not only would we have to take him there, but they also wanted me to stay with him the entire time. Funny, if I had time for that, I would do it myself.
A couple calls later we come across these guys, and thank baby Jesus we did. They were very polite and helpful on the phone, called when they were running a few minutes behind to pick him up, and got as much skunk out of my dog as possible. You guys rock! Keep up the great work.
PS: you should offer this 24⁄7. I would have paid so much money for someone else to deal with the initial spray phase lol

BEWARE!!! The groomer bragged about how great she was with schnauzer cuts. THAT was far from the truth. My dogs beard was butchered. To make matters worse she cut my dog in several areas. I advised her of a large mole to be careful with him prior to the grooming. Well, she wasn’t and my dog had a huge bleeding gash. He has been licking his paws and cuts non stop. She didn’t even point out the huge gash she made. I had to ask what happened. This place is the absolute worst! I have never encountered such a place. They should shut to place down or at least change the name to «No class cuts» don’t bring your pet here, unless you want an extra vet bill for infection. $ 40 turned into $ 150

We take our Shih Tzu here because they do a good job for a good price. Not as good as our place in Illinois but they are the best we could find in Flagstaff. We tried PetCo once but came right back here as it was more thorough and better priced.

Classy Canine blows Petsmart and Petco out of the water. As an ex employee of one of these places I can tell you with all honesty that unlike my former employer Sonny and Christina are professional, kind, loving and handle each pet as their own. There work is amazing! I have a different breeds I take there all the time. From bathing dogs to professional grooms this is definitely worth the trip!

I am glad this salon uses shampoo that does not have an overly perfumed scent. The haircut is good and now my dog is super soft. The groomers also seemed nice.
That being said, I will not be coming back. First when I showed up at the specified time, I was told it would be longer than previously stated because one of the groomers was having an «emotional day.» I have had bad days too, but I don’t feel revealing that information is necessary.
As I walked out I noticed my dog limp, and then saw blood on her paw and the surrounding fur on her upper legs from one of her nails being cut too short to the quick. This one of the reasons I pay someone to cut my dogs nails instead of doing it myself, to avoid causing my pet pain and bleeding. Please note that my dog has uncolored nails where you can see the quick inside.
When I returned inside to inquire, the groomer told me it was because my dog was old and getting squirrley, (hmm perhaps because she was there for almost 4 hours?) I understand that everyday is different but the groomer I usually go to at Petsmart gives her an «A» for sweetness and patience on her after grooming scorecard.
Despite the fact that I only paid $ 40 with a coupon here, instead of the approx $ 70 at Petsmart I can say I would rather pay the higher price to have her nails trimmed with the electric file by more professional personnel.
Im giving three stars because of the actual job done on my dogs long coat is good.

Today… Sept. 25th… I took my Schnauzer Jake here for a total spa wook up. I have had repeated problems with being able to get him properly groomed especially his ears. All I can say Jake looked absolutely georgeous after his grooming. Sonny and his wife are so friendly and deffinitely do an iutstanding job. They really jnow what they’re diing. I highly recommend them.

I finally found a dog groomer who will cut my Tiny girl’s nails for $ 5. YAY!
Even though I am currently in New Mexico I frequent FLG often with my dogs.
Now I have a place to bring them for grooming when I come to town.
Hand scissored trims, dogs over 80 pounds, excessively hairy dogs, matted dogs, and difficult or aggressive dogs will be charged extra depending on condition.
